I am a little hesitatnt to post this, due to the fact I know I can do better. But, my heart goes out to you about your Bertie and I tried to find a poem to fit what I wanted to say, well that failed. So here is something simple, from my heart.I lost one of my babies- he wasn't a pet he was my boy his name was Bunny , a crazy little cat, and I s'pose I get extremely attached to my animals. He passed 10-10-2009. I prayed and prayed, I spent a ton of money and had to use a syringe to give him medicine 5 times a day plus feeding him the other 3 for over 4 weeks. Looking back I maybe should had let him go, but I had to try. I miss him dearly still, and he visits my dreams often. Sorry about going on, the point is I feel in some way how you feel so with that being said. When you pray and wish but the outcome was not desired it of course hurts but there is a bigger picture to be admired some wishes come true while others hang in the air and another may be answered but not in a way you found fair letting go is a part of life you'll learn it through and through your Bertie is better now just not phsically with you Your wish came true in the end letting go is unconditional love healthy, happy, and healed Waiting for your time to join him up above. Wishing you comfort, joy, and peace in all things. While I am here I also am wishing for a job. That's it a full time job. I do not remember all the other wishes made, I am sorry for that. We should pile them together so anytime someone posts they can qupte and add their own, so as we read we can wish along and keep it going. Just a thought. But, I wish for anyone who wished here and even the ones that may not be posting they come true and workout for the best, whether it is exactly what you want or the bigger picture you do not always see. <3 IP: Logged |

TxGirl, thank you. I've been missing him a lot lately. I didn't cry as much as I expected to, after the first day, despite feeling depressed over losing him - and the way he went. We had trouble cleaning the stairs (one of his favourite places to lay, where he could keep an eye on everyone, and I guess it was more comfortable for him, over the past year - we felt guilty, because we were washing away what was left of him with us. I'm so sorry that you're dealing with the loss of your baby, as well. I still haven't dreamt about him, but my mother and sister have - my mother dreamt that he had snuggled in next to her, right around the same time as I looked at the place he died (on the floor, in the bathroom), and whispered a hello to him. By the way, if anyone could spare some prayers for my cousin, Julie, I'd appreciate it. Late last year, the doctors said their treatment hadn't worked, and that her tumour was growing (they'd almost killed her three times, with the treatment). Since then, she and her family, have been shelling out a bunch of money to a well-known naturopath, who claims that she is now well (whoever she's seeing, also goes by the "Eat Right For Your Blood Type" diet). My aunt told my mother, this morning, that my cousin is a walking skeleton, and that she uses a cane (she's forty years old). The naturopath says that any pain she's feeling, isn't due to tumour growth. I don't know anything else, I'm confused as to when she last had a scan, if she's had updated ones or not, but my aunt is worried sick for her daughter. Thanks very much in advance. IP: Logged |

Are you good at tennis?------------------ "All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one. The only distinction is that, with some people, suicide is a subconscious choice, and with others it's a conscious choice. Otherwise, those who commit suicide and those who succumb to accident, illness or "old age," die for exactly the same reason: belief in the inevitability of death." Linda Goodman IP: Logged |
