I get paid really well for raising three kids. Family Tax Benefit is pretty nice, considering all the hard work I do.
Just got me thinking about my typical day 7am wake up7.15 sneak in a coffee and Lindaland
7.30-8.00 Babies and kids wake up
Change 3 Nappies (diapers) before 8am... (sometimes 2 poos)
8.30 Feed all five of us.
8.45 Do the dishes (usually left from night before- I don't have a dishwasher)
9.00 Bath or shower whoever smells the worst.
9.15 All kids are clean, dressed and fed, and are being occupied by some type of mindless entertainment.
9.30 Husband off to work or still in bed if day off.
9.30 I have a shower and get dressed and try to look like I have the time to do that.
10.00 Vaccum the floor (done twice a day), do a load of washing (nearly everyday)
10.45 Morning tea, biscuits, fruit and water all round.
11.15 Get ready to take my eldest to preschool.
11.30 Shuffle them all out the door, a baby on each hip, everything I need stuffed into a pockets.
12.00 Return from preschool, unpack the babies and put them on the floor.
12.15 Feed three of us for lunch. Babies get tired and have a nap.
12.30 Another coffee or iced tea and go on Lindaland and Facebook for as long as I can. Sometimes I read/ or hang out the washing.
1.30 Babies still asleep hopefully so I get out my diary, see what bills need to be paid, make relevant phonecalls, be a business manager for a while.
3.00 Babies both awake and hungry, they are fed and played with, sang to, story time, whatever.
3.30 Get ready to pick up my eldest from preschoool.
 Pack everyone into the car.
4.00 Pick up eldest go to my grandparents house and, put baby in bounce, middle one in highchair, eldest to hang out with grandma and I run errands and do chores for them.
6.00 Dinner time, I go make some type of dinner, really healthy as possible. Everyone eats. Vacuum floor.
6-7pm (crazy hour- bed time routine)
7.00 Babies are ready for bed and they fall asleep.
7.30 Eldest wants attention and we play and chat and cuddle until Husband gets home at 8.30 pm.
8.30 Eldest in Bed asleep and happy.
8.35 I rush off to the gym and work out for an hour.
9.30 Kiss and smooch with Husband and talk about the day and how much we look forward to his next day off (which is more than he works, 3 days on and 4 days off. We have the same routine on his days off but he helps me do everything- we do it together).
9.45 Have a beer and undo my hardwork at the gym! nah... its really nice and I earned it. See what needs to be done in the house since we have no one to help us. I recently painted two bedrooms and retiled the floor.
If nothing to 'do'. we watch a movie, talk, read together, do zen movements together or make love.
11.30 pm... In bed, pass out but not before I check Lindaland and facebook lol... wake up at 7am.
Right now it's 2.47 pm, one baby is asleep the other is just awake and I just finished todays diary and businessy stuff, I usually sneak in LL. I'm totally priceless. Friends and family just have to fit in to that... somewhere... like they can just come and join in. Have wine time over lunch while mopping the floors. I'm so much fun!
  4:00 am : bath/dress up.
 4:30 am : breakfast.
 5:00-6:00 am : work-out
6:00-10:00 am : surf the net.
 10:00 am : Lunch
 10:30 am - 6:00 pm : sleep.
  6:00 pm : dinner
7:00-4:00 am : surf the net
That's what I do these days

I am a plastic surgeon! ^_^ Well, still have 2 years and a half of residency, but I already do solo surgeries (minor ones) and most of the days (when I am not arguing with my boss about my rigid idealistic work ethics) I love it very much! IP: Logged |

 | posted June 13, 2012 12:13 AM I just graduated from university with my B.A. in political science and minor in East Asian Studies. At the moment I am a administrative assistant at a law firm. I wouldn't say I love my job at the moment but I do have the opportunity to network with major representatives in the legal/ law community. After about a year of working I plan on applying for law school.

 | posted August 11, 2012 06:55 PM I'm currently a self-employed massage therapist, and own my own mobile massage business.
It has up days and down days, but I do enjoy my work. My other passion is writing, mainly poetry, and I am working on making that my primary career, with massage as secondary. Writing is effortless, well, gut-wrenching, but it flows through my hands, mind and heart like a rushing river, and makes every day richer. I love helping people, touching their lives with my words or my healing hands. Chalk off the Virgo Sun and Mercury and Mars in the 6th being super accurate, LOL IP: Logged |

 | posted August 21, 2012 09:20 PM I'm also currently in high school -my last year finally lol- but I plan on majoring in accounting when I got to college. IF that doesn't turn out to be the job for me then I'd like to explore teaching english as a foreign language in other countries. I have plenty of time though, plus I'm not planning on having kids at all so it shouldn't be hard to go back to college if need be.

 | posted January 12, 2013 04:27 PM I got inducted into the NYCDCC (Carpenters Union) Feb 27 of last year.
I LOVE what I do! I went through 2 pre apprenticeship programs first and was called to go through the interview process before I finished the 2nd program. Next to shedding light for others with my gifts and horticulture , it's the MOST rewarding occupation ever! The entire time I was in the trenches trying to get in the union, I used Linda's words of wisdom as an affirmation. "LABOR WITH LOVE, LABOR WITH LOVE" Lifting AND carrying 65 lbs. mud pails - "LABOR WITH LOVE" Complete an assignment with a douche (B/c we all know sometimes it happens)- "LABOR WITH LOVE" Sleeping on the sidewalk for a weekend JUST to be able to fill out the application to get into the union - "LABOR WITH LOVE" LMAO! And I wouldn't change ONE THING! It's made me appreciate my position even more. And it's kept me humble.
   UBC SISTERS IN THE UNION!!
