I often use that idea as a tool to fall asleep when it is difficult.

Not nearly as selfless as others here, I would:
Purchase/make payments on 2 "Cadillac" med ins policies.
Hire 2 qualified people to care for my mother *rotationally.
She would end her days in her condo, with good care.

I would go back to school. Similar to AG a community college for some things, trade or vocational for others--see what spirals off from there. Working for myself, and independently is a priority, preferably with a trusted business partner who possesses qualities that I lack & vice versa.

I have a very active 9H, for the last several years I have not traveled at all. I have a long bucket list of unvisited places.
Travel would make my soul very happy.

I know what I would do now. It all centers around Lindaland. I would create LindaCon (Which I want to do anyway), but I would be able to spend a lot on ads to make the first one work really well. I would also pay for travel and hotel expenses for anyone here who wants to attend, and we would have a Lindaland Reunion there the last day of the convention. Lastly, I would pay a staff here a good salary to do free readings and charts.

Try to get used to the idea, that my life as I know it will cease to exist, because changes are a coming.

I would pay off all my ex to be and I owe.
I would give him 1/2 but he said no, just buy him a modest house and a car. I would give him enough so he could quit his job which he gets seizures at so he could be a full time writer and we could finish the 7+ books we need to finish.
I would buy a modest home in Europe but with full handicap access and a small water therapy pool to help me lose weight and hopefully heal at least some of my nerve damage. A new bed too and massage equipment I do not need help using which would help me have fewer bad body days.
A handicap bathroom so I can take care of myself without requiring help with everything on my worse times. Visual aid devices so I can see better and voice activated typing devices because I cannot type normally.
I would help as many folks as I could.
I would start with folks I have met here at LL. One lady needs new teeth, and when I get rich she will have them. So many I want to help somehow.
I would get dental implants myself too.
Once I lose all the weight I want to lose, would get the excess skin surgery required after extreme weight loss of 240+ pounds.
Already lost 140+.
I would buy a Prius or some other eco efficient car.
I would give my boyfriend how ever much he needs to have the boost he needs to do what he wants to do.
I would take classes in graphic arts so I can do my own graphic novels of my standard books working on and new projects to come.
I would set up a trust fund for my grandson.
And of course a big donation to Randall for LindaLand.

to be continued.............

I suspect every person who don`t have a million has thought of this

Pay off my property and build the log cabin of my dreams would be my personal selfish "I want" spending.

Enlarge my barns, add new roofs , install central heat/cooling, run water lines to them . That way I could take more abandoned/needy fur faces. ( ok, that`s a selfish I want too)

Buy and cultivate about 20 + acres for free gardening for those in need.

Donate a huge amount to the Crippled Childrens Fund, the local food bank, and start a fund for local childrens various needs. School supplies, clothing, tutoring , and the like that push strapped parents budget to empty ( or children go without).

Buy new computers for the library and stock it with every hardcover of John Steinbeck, Ernest Hemmingway, Jack London and Taylor Caldwell.

I think I`m exhausted and broke again

I'd hire a team of techs to keep LL online and with its own servers.

First, my debts are all paid off.

Second, I gave my mother any financial assistance to build/redo her dream home.

Third, I pursued my dreams of culinary school, art school, and self-published my poetry.

Fourth, I started a program that showed foster parents appreciation with complimentary massages, notes of gratitude, etc.

Fifth, I invested a good-sized chunk in a money market account, and another good-sized chunk in an annuity.

Sixth, I traveled to the five places I'd most wanted to visit: Paris, Spain, Egypt, Poland, Japan...

Seventh, I bought a fuel-efficient car with super extended warranty, and insured to the max

Eighth, I donated time and money to charities close to my heart: The Humane Society, Planned Parenthood, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption

I'm sure there is more, but that is a good start

I'm fascinated by it. I go in the lottery office once a week to look at the winning ticket and winner's picture with the check.

What kind of luck would that involve? And is there a way to attract it?

I want to know too!
With my ex-to-be quitting his job;
we sure need to win.
There just has to be a way to attract such good luck as a big lottery win.
Even a thousand $ here a thousand $ there sure would help if one could keep on winning.
