The first book I ever read of Linda's was Star Signs. It was the hardcover first editon. I received it for free, and I almost gave it away without reading it. Once I began the book, I couldn't put it down. But when I got to Chapter Nine, the angelic chorus began to sing! I already knew much of what I read (from my own personal G-U-R-U), but Linda made it all so clear. On a clear day, you really CAN see forever! My Life was completely changed. Those who have read Chapter Nine k-NOW what I mean. Then I read Gooberz three times in a row. What a book! I owe Linda my Life. That is why this site is here today, and if I can convince just one person to re-MEMBER who they really are or get just one person to explore Linda's wonderful style of writing, then I will be pleased. Thank you, Linda. I Love you!

DITTO....

Yes she has awakened quite a few souls with her sharing...

My life was also given new direction and meaning with her books. It is wonderous and magical to have your "true s-elf" given back to you.

I don't want to deify her, but Linda was truly an angel of Light--God's personal messenger of Hope.

Linda and I, wherever she is now, have always had a special relationship...in fact from the moment I first picked up a book of hers. She (through her writing) made me feel less alone in this universe.

Hi, sweet Gooberlily. It is difficult typing this, because your post has brought tears to my eyes (very salty). You struck a deep nerve with me by reMINDing me of what a great gift Linda has given me--by making me feel less lonely in this Uni-verse. I had never quite so understood it until I read what you wrote. That sums it up rather nicely. I don't k-NOW you, but I still wanted to thank you for that. Your Love for Linda shines forth from every word you write. Thank you.

Thank you, Randall :-) I believe that everyone I've encountered who was touched by Linda writing were special people themselves. Wonderful, loving people who are giving, and expect nothing in return. Linda used her gifts in this world wisely, to teach others to love and know more about themselves and others. The knowledge she taught was not to lead to power over others, at the core of everything she wrote was a simple, universal truth...to understand each other and love. Understanding certain principals...understanding others, and accepting others for all their flaws and virtues helps us all be less afraid, I believe. There is no beginning, and there is no end, there is only life and love.

I'll share with you all a very personal thing that happened to me regarding Linda. I had written to her after I read the book Gooberz for the first time. I was in Barnes and Noble, I was browsing through the astrology section (a usual thing for me) and while I was leaning down to examine a shelf, something hit my head and landed on the floor beside me. It was Gooberz. I smiled, knowing that there had to be a reason that happened...I had never heard of the book Gooberz before, but I had read Sun Signs and Love Signs and I loved both the books. Well, I bought it and took it home. When I read the book, it really made me smile, because Linda was going through a lot of the same things that I was going through at the time.

As I was saying earlier (I'm sorry, I have a habit of running off on tangents), I wrote a letter to Linda thanking her astral self for knocking me on the head, because it was just what I needed to read. I got a letter back on October 15, 1997, a form letter, that said that she died. It didn't say how, it just said she died. I was in shock. I felt so bad. Gooberz was laying open on my bed beside me, and I noticed one particular phrase...something like, "Suddenly I heard a bird sing a trilling note of Spring"...it was a passage having to do with death and the eternity of the spirit...now, remember this is October 15th, no birds are singing in Brooklyn. It was cold outside, and dark. I heard a bird outside my window, as if it was sitting on the windowsill singing, a song like a canary singing. My friend was with me at the time, and looked at me a little strange, then asked me, "Did you hear that?" I said, "Yeah, I did." That's how I knew Linda was fine, wherever she is.

Besides, didn't Linda mention something in her books about some Saturn seven year cycle? Maybe she's hanging out in someone? I'd believe it.

What a wonderful story!

Linda had complications with diabetes during the latter part of her Life. She became very depressed, because she couldn't seem to Ordain it away. She finally had to have a leg amputated, and with it went her will to Live. She was so against the medical theocracy, yet modern medicine could have easily saved her leg if she had gone to doctors in time. Hot soaks and salves make diabetic ulcers worse. There is no substitute for modern medical treatment in this particular case; alternative methods do not work. It is so sad.

I, too, feel that Linda is hanging out in another shell. You mentioning it just reinforces that belief.

Thank you Randall, I'm glad I finally know what happened during the last part of Linda's life. That is very sad.

The only wonderful thing, is in knowing that Linda isn't gone. Knowledge and love like hers don't pass away, just the physical shell.

Hello everyone. Linda changed my life forever too. The first book of hers that I read was Love Signs and it's still my all time favourite. I was so sad when I heard of her passing.

Welcome, Magical! Make your S-elf right at home. Don't be sad. Linda will be with us always.

Consider the circle, measure it please,
All its three hundred and sixty degrees.
Wasn't that fun, and haven't you found
You can do it again, the other way 'round?

Now that we know how many degrees,
Must be accounted for nice as you please
Here come astrologers, what do they say?
Divide the degrees in precisely this way.
Take thirty degrees for each of the signs
It makes a nice wheel divided by lines.

What a beautiful story Ann!

I too gave away my Star Signs book, I gave it to my friend who first introduced me to Linda's books, she hadn't read it yet

Linda's beautiful writing does inspire that type of generosity, it's almost as if after you read one of her books, and if you think someone might need to read it, you feel compelled to give the book away! Almost as if you can't wait for that person to go out and buy the book, the message is so important and so beautiful that you have to share it...you have to let someone read it thems-elf at their own pace and find peace in it.

Hello everyone!
Everything about wanting to give away the books after you read them is so true!I have lent my sister the sun signs book,I don't know if I can lend out my Gooberz book yet though, cause I always get an urge to read it again at the strangest times!I have read GOOBERZ about ten or twelve times since I bought it 2 years ago.Every time I read it again I discover something else that I missed or that I didn't quite understand at the time.Linda makes me want to grow inside, almost like my heart has a never ending flow of love that needs to be set free into this world.I would admit to anyone that I LOVE Linda Goodman unconditionally, because she has helped me to be a better person to my children and to my friends and family. It feels like I am whole again when I read her inspiring wisdom.I know that Linda is around us somewhere, and she is proud of what Randall has created. What we each create every day when we come to this sight to learn and to LOVE.We that come to this site are the most unconditional LOVERS of All-Because we LOVE and support eachother though we haven't met in person yet.

GOD bless you ALL!

LOVE and LIGHT EVERYONE!

What Ann said! I, too, have given away countless copies of Star Signs, but I just can't seem to bear letting my copy of Gooberz go (since it is an out-of-print hardcover edition). Ann, you are truly an !

Yeah, me too! I didn't say (I was going to, but didn't)...I almost gave my Gooberz away to my friend who I wanted to read it, but I couldn't part with it! It went as far as me going to my bookcase to grab it and hand it to her...I couldn't let go of it!

Maybe Gooberz is the only book that she wrote that we all should stumble upon ours-elves, when we need it most. I know I got "hit" with it right when I needed to!

Thank you Grey, Gooberlily, Randall and Yivy for such a warm and kind welcome. This feels like a nice place to be. I agree with you all about Gooberz. I lend all my books, but somehow not this one. The cover itself attracts everyone's attention, but I can't bring myself to lend it out to anyone. There's certainly something very "magical" about it. I'd love to put some bright stars here. How do you make them?
