I wonder why Linda never saw the hazards of smoking? I guess she was in denial about that!

Thanks LMB, I like astrology.com and that site, along with astrology,astrology,astrology.com has given me my chart and the other reads it for you.
In Star signs Linda wrote that you couldn't get sick from smoking if it wasn't indicated in your chart.
Makes me wonder if oreo's and candy bars lead to dibetes though-Linda seemed to like those.

Linda knew smoking wasn't exactly healthy (but depriving oneself could mentally be more harmful). She said that one couldn't get lung cancer unless indicated in one's chart. She also said that second-hand smoke was about as dangerous to a person as smelling meat is to a vegetarian. An unpleasant odor, perhaps, but not unhealthy.

I am so happy to see these older posts come back to the top.
Randall, how does one figure from their chart the propensity to a specific dis-ease? In particular lung cancer?? I have some concerns as a smoker and my Mom passed from lung cancer altho she had quit smoking 15 YEARS before her illness. It would lessen my worry if I could get a reading of that particular aspect.
Thanks, juniperb

Hopefully, we'll delve into this in the Advanced Astrology Course. Lung problems (cancer, emphysema, and pneumonia) would be indicated by Pisces-Gemini afflictions, especially afflictions related to the ASC or 6th House (in Pisces or Gemini).

Wow you see my Moon sign is in Gemini and it's in my 12th house opposed both Saturn and Uranus in the 6th house! I have Pluto squared my Venus and opposing my Mars possibly indicating low blood sugar. I also have Pisces another ruler of Lungs squaring my Saturn and Uranus as well! I also have Mercury squaring the same planets indicating bad eye sight which I also have!
So I should definitly stay away from smoking!

-Oh yeah this is the reason why I have chronic Asthma! I've never got peenemonia! :knock On Wood:

Seven years...the Saturn-seven cycle...I think I'll start reading Gooberz again. I need to be re-Minded...how does that Saturn-Seven cycle work again? I have to say that I haven't felt like myS-elf lately. Maybe I'm another elf! It is a 7 year for me...

Has anyone ever felt like they were on the edge of some kind of breakthrough or understanding and just one element is missing? That's how I feel now...just waiting for it to appear.

Almost like a sneeze that won't come. (Bad analogy, I apologize!)

To Linda...who I kNow is still around...somehow...

Love,

It was a Full Moon in Aries...Sun is in Libra, so Full Moon must be in Aries.

here is the week ahead...

MON OCT 21 You're as high as a kite in the morning as the Full Moon has just occurred -- 12:21AM PDT and energizing 28 degrees of Libra and Aries -- while millions slept. The Full Moon reminds you to balance personal goals and partnerships needs. As this time is also the high moment of the monthly solar-lunar cycle, don't be surprised if you are feeling more emotional, high-strung, excited, and nervous. Some people will even feel a little loony -- to go along with the Moon fully reflecting the Sun's light. Revelations and insights strike your mind. It's good to send your healing thoughts and prayers to loved ones, friends and the Earth in general. At 4:57AM PDT, the Moon shifts into earthy Taurus (after a void lunar cycle beginning at 2:55AM PDT). Tend your garden or go on a nature excursion. Cooking, baking, and crafts are back in style. Go over your bank accounts and deal with financial affairs like a pro. A Mars-Pluto 72-degree pattern (7:00AM PDT) helps give you extra physical energy. Tackle chores around the home or office. Get into the martial arts or take up a new sport.

TUE OCT 22 Sort out what's been happening in partnerships over the past four weeks as the Sun nears the end of its journey in Libra. By tomorrow, the Sun will enter intensive and mysterious Scorpio. Right now, a great blessing -- for hard workers -- is a Sun-Saturn trine from Libra to Gemini (6:31AM PDT). Put some elbow grease into your morning tasks and efforts. Persistence now will lead to rich dividends down the road. Get advice from counselors, guides, teachers, and mentors. The Moon remains in Taurus -- suggesting the need to stay grounded and focused on practical matters. Get to know your banker on a first-name basis. Talk over your investments with an experienced broker. Communications, business, literary affairs, and educational pursuits benefit from Mercury in Libra moving 60 degrees to Jupiter in Leo (7:20PM PDT). This is an excellent astrological link allowing you to grow and be successful on many levels. A key problem is Mars in Libra squaring Chiron in Capricorn (5:17PM PDT). Being reckless, wild, and headstrong will pull you down. A workout, aerobics session or jogging may help you direct physical energies into clear channels. Nevertheless, try to accomplish a lot of busy work and errands today as a long void lunar cycle happens tomorrow.

WED OCT 23 In the early hours, your mind is sharp as Mercury in Libra moves 60 degrees to Pluto in Sagittarius (1:48AM PDT). Put on your detective garb and solve personal mysteries. This is amplified at 7:18AM PDT as the Sun enters Scorpio until November 22. All Scorpio themes -- underworlds and the Collective Unconscious; metamorphosis; transformation; intimacy and sexuality; in-depth psychology; research, investigations; emotional catharsis; enigmas and puzzles; ancient rites, beliefs and ceremonies; hypnosis and auto-suggestion; taxes; insurance and other people's money -- are energized. Passions are often inflamed or conditions frozen and stuck as the Sun enters this sign of fixed water. Note that Saturn and Venus make contact via the Celestial Equator (1:44AM PDT) and this can toss cold water on love ties. The Moon remains in Taurus during the morning and afternoon, but is void of course from 7:14AM PDT until 5:17PM PDT. Don't make big decisions or large purchases. It is much better to finish odd jobs, run minor errands, do laundry, and clean up your emotional act. By 5:17PM PDT, discussions turn lively as the Moon enters Gemini.

THU OCT 24 You are on information overload during the next two days while the Moon in Gemini holds sway. A Grand Triangle in air signs is happening today and tomorrow -- composed of different planetary bodies! Right now, the Moon in Gemini trines Mars in Libra (4:23AM PDT) and Neptune in Aquarius (9:35AM PDT). Lift your imagination to new heights and link it strongly with your intellectual prowess. Go on a reading, writing or research binge. Craft work and carpentry go well under Gemini Moon. Expect some emotional struggles and psychic turbulence as the Sun in Scorpio moves 45 degrees to Pluto in Sagittarius (2:52AM PDT). There is good news on the investment front as Venus in Scorpio, although still retrograde, moves 60 degrees to Vesta in Virgo (10:52AM PDT). Welcome hot tips about stocks, bonds, and real-estate sales. Be on the good side of a key partner this afternoon as Mercury joins Juno in Libra (1:05PM PDT). Enjoy a candlelight dinner and listen to enchanting music tonight.

FRI OCT 25 Arise early and check the newspapers for special sales and bargains as the Moon in Gemini moves 60 degrees to Jupiter in Leo (12:11AM PDT). Think optimistically and you may find a treasure. The business climate is improving as Mercury is moving at over 1 1/2 degrees per day and Jupiter is approaching a wonderful and harmonious trine to Pluto (exact on October 27). Signings and agreements are possible after checking the fine print and talking with experts. The second Grand Triangle in two days clocks in as the Moon in Gemini trines Mercury in Libra (7:43AM PDT) and Uranus in Aquarius (6:24PM PDT). This astrological pattern really awakens your higher intuition and genius. Nothing escapes your notice. Get into science, metaphysics, the healing arts, astrology, astronomy, numerology, and kindred subjects. Be a mover and shaker in the online, computer, and high-tech fields. Support maternal figures and children as Ceres in Aries opposes Mars in Libra (12:09PM PDT). Don't criticize loved ones when they are trying to help you. Expect a few positive surprises or shocks tonight when the Moon in Gemini trines Uranus in Aquarius. Curl up with a bestseller.

***

The Moon is in Taurus now, for the next couple days, with the Full Moon departing for as long. Take care, all Taureans, for the Sun is going into your opposite sign soon, be especially careful and get plenty of rest on your half birthday!!! It is your annual Sun-Sun opposition, don't overwork or overload! Enjoy Mars in your sign, Libras, you have this for five more weeks or so, not to return for two years. All Leos, this can be your best year in twelve with Jupiter in your sign until next Fall!

Bright Blessings,
Carlo

Whoopsie...you're right....I'm getting ahead of myself! That Merc in Gemini is at it again!!

Full moon was around 2am and Taurus later in the morning.

Here is was a gorgeous, glowing, misty moon surrounded by royal blue velvet...I stared at it for at least a half hour. I love moonbathing!

I know Linda loved her Colorado mountains, but I love my mountains here...I live on the Appalachians, very near the trail. The foliage colors grow warmer everyday. I love this time of year...many don't like it because it's the end of summer and everything is "dying", but no, it's just sleeping for awhile, spring will bring life, like it does every year. I love the winter also, a good time to recharge.

I think if she chose to go, fall was a good time to do it. There is always a promise of Spring to follow.

Carlo,

Great forecasts! Do you write and do the interpretations yourself or get it from somewhere else?
Well anyway, thanks for it, it has helped!

Also, to stay on topic here, I was very sad when I heard Linda left. I distinctly rememer shuffling around my apartment at the time, cleaning or organizing, and I heard it announced either on the radio or TV... but it came floating through the air to my ears and I remember it registering sharply because I had hoped to read new books from her. Why didn't her children or family desire to take on her legacy? Anyone know?

Oh, and by the way, her story would make a great movie!!

Linda never chose to die she knew she was immortal. Her past, her present life, her future are all living and breathing in the ETERNAL NOW.

When people access their past lives and indeed their future lives, they are simply tapping into themselves living in different dimensions. Think of the soul as light refracted into many prisims, every single part is a whole only separated through illusion. I know it's hard to grasp, however it's the very reason my Master says "You can never imagine anything you have not yet experienced."

Linda is here.

We can only imagine what is already in our memory...so yeah, understood.

I know this Gia
In this 'time'/'dimension' I was referring to.
To me, October of her 'death' is very significant.

Dreams of the past/ and future, I know, is tapping into 'that' NOW, similtaenously.

I got goose pimples when I started reading this thread!

I believe that Linda helped me heal my pet rat a few years a go.

I believe in immortality, but who would want to live in this world forever. this is a CRUEL world. People cannot be changed- they have to WANT to change first. One can only sow the seeds. This world does have beauty amidst all the suffering, but that beauty is said to be just a spark of the beauty of where we come from; of God.

Linda is so inspiring to us because she chose Light. She brings Light forth. She returned to that collective force; that band of light; of angels. She may be born again, who knows.

I was so inspired by her that I too have wanted to travel to Colorado where she lived, the place she wrote about. Feel her spirit; try to sense answers to questions or gain insight. Perhaps meet an avatar or two along the way.....it would be wonderful to meet the Hopi Indians too.
