Hi Everyone-This is my first official post to this site-although I have visited numerous times in the past. Thank you all for the wonderful information you provide! When I visit the site I really feel that Linda is watching over us... I am moving cross country from Washington DC, to Kalispell Montana in two weeks. I am going to make a special stop in Cripple Creek to visit the old stomping grounds of my two favorite people, Linda and Tesla. Does anyone specifically know where I can find Linda's old house...or what street it is on? I would be soooooo thankful for any insight you can provide. IP: Logged |

Welcome to Lindaland, MercurialMisfit ! The address for Linda's first house is 315 E. Carr Ave. It is now a bed & breakfast called the Last Dollar Inn. Linda next lived in a hilltop home but I'm not sure of the address. Maybe someone at the Inn could give directions. I'm sure someone around town will know. There are pictures of both of Linda's homes on Greg's site at WWW.ConsciousEvolution.com. ------------------ No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. -Aesop-IP: Logged |

Well...I made it cross country quite quickly and safely. My dad and I drove from Greensboro, North Carolina to Kalispell, MT in THREE DAYS!When my dad found out how high up Cripple Creek is (altitude), he feared we were too close to winter to make the trek. It turns out the day we would have been in Cripple Creek there was a lot of snow in the area anyway...so maybe Linda was looking out for us. In a way I think it will be better if I visit on my own. I would have felt rushed with my dad, and I would have been worrying about leaving my cat in the car or a hotel room the whole time. Looks like I'll have to make the journey at another time....Maybe this summer? Merc IP: Logged |

Thanks Merc for letting us know. It is way to early to hear about snow. ------------------ "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." -Les Brown- IP: Logged |

looking at their website, I wonder if they only operate from May to October? http://www.cripple-creek.co.us/lastdinn.htm Even so, you'd think they'd be accepting reservations. Here's a listingof a couple more phone numbers. http://www.bbonline.com/co/lastdollar/ Keep us posted. IP: Logged |

The woman who owns the last dollar inn knows where the next house is, I forgot, the street name, but it's the last road on the oppisite side of town from where you come into town, right on the side of the mountain and you can tell which one it is cause it's got the stained glass all over. I'll download some pictures soon, now that I have the equipment to do so.IP: Logged |

I used to live in Cripple Creek and know Linda fairly well. Her large house ( I can't remember the street name) but take the main highway into town. Follow that, it will turn into Bennet Avenue, where all the casinos are. You will pass the Double Eagle Casino on your left, then take the 2nd right, at the Imperial Hotel and Casino, follow that up the hill, past the St Nicholas Hotel and it will be on your left just past a church which is on your right. Can't miss it, look for very large stained glass windows!IP: Logged |
