Greetings...

I did know Linda personally, and that date never really rang any bells, until I re-opened my copy of Love Signs.

My guess, is that Dec. 8 may very well be Sally's birthdate?!? According to Love Signs she disappeared on 12/10/73.

Linda always professed that Sally's nativity never showed her death, and rather showed that she should be very much alive...

Perhaps...

And also, didn't Nahtan predict that Linda would meet up with her Twin Soul in December of 1970... and that they would see On a Clear Day together? When did their meeting in the bookstore take place?

Randall, you are the Gooberz guru... do any of these incidents ring any bells? I'd have to dust off my old manuscript copy of Gooberz to be sure.

Just some thoughts from a friend...

Greetings Aselzion...lovely to see you here, thank you for your insight!

You know, I had wondered about Sally's birthday myself...I'll have to get out my books and look for clues (when I find the time!!!)...or, better yet, wait for Randall, who I bet already knows!

'Twas nothin' Tink, Randall brought it up for you!

That second mention was the one that brought on chills, oddly enough. (You would have thought that mention of Sally's birthday would have done it.)

Curiouser and Curiouser...

December 8 has soooooo many different meanings.

Or are they all one common meaning expressed in different ways?

Thanks, LMB! And, of course, I wish Sally a happy B-day here every December 10th.

Greetings...

Is her birthday Dec. 10th as well? I didn't know that, Linda wasn't much in the habit of sharing people's charts...

But I did see in the "For Sally" section in Love Signs that she disappeared on that date in 1973. Isn't that odd?

Well, I'll have to see what else I can spiral about the date.

Thanks, LMB...

A- of course, anything I can do to help. Yes, isn't it odd that she "disappeared" on her birth-day.

I always feel so bittersweet on December 10th. And April 9th. On both days I wear the perfume that Linda used to wear. I found it online years ago and ordered some. Hard to come by. Just my little homage to Linda...

Love and Peace,

LMB, what a sweet tribute, to wear her perfume. Care to share what it is?
If not, no problem.

Thank you ladies.

I usually can't wear perfume anymore My sinuses just explode when I wear most commercial fragrances, and I miss it.

trillian - (what a beautiful name, by the way, what does it come from?) -- Je Revien is very strong. Without offending, it has a slight, "older woman from the 50/60's" scent to it. But oh, I love it.

Linda also wore Chanel as I understand it.

But for your sensitive nose, maybe perfume isn't for you. She loved the scent of sweet peas in the rain as you probably know from the Gooberz bio. :

Love!

Sweet peas in the rain, and vanilla extract. I've been known to wear a little vanilla now and then.

Well, the origin of the nick trillian isn't terribly romantic. It comes from a trilogy of irreverent science fiction books that begins with "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." When earthling Trish McMillan takes off into the galaxy with Zaphod Beeblebrox (he of two heads), her name changes to Trillian.

I thought I might seek out that perfume, but if it strong, you're right, it probably isn't for me. One of the few commercial fragrances I can wear is Pear Glace' from Victoria's Secret, a very light body spray.

Thanks LMB.

trillian,
i have a suggestion. do you have a "garden botanika" in your area? It's a fragrance/bath-body shop where you can "make" your own perfumes. One of the scents they have is "sweet pea"... I got that and wear it to honor Linda when I don't want to go "old-lady-from-1955"

Just an idea,

LMB

LMB, no we don't, not in this area. But I'll search on the web, I'd love to have a fragrance like that!
Thank you!

This is a wierd coincidence. My mother is born December 8th. John Lennon was murdered by Mark David Chapman on Dec. 8th 1980. I was born in 1979, and my mom named me Mark David.

December 8th

do you think this date may also have something to do with the 2004 Venus Transit as well?
