I was just reading David Icke's website, and I just have to say, where does he get his sources? I think that's how we'll know, if he's fantasizing or not, which I believe is both. But his claims are extremely bizzare and seemingly easy to disprove. -StarLover IP: Logged |

Most of his "evidence" is just the opinion of the psychics he consults. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

He makes other ridiculous claims--like the Mormon Church and Jehovah's Witnesses are identical and are all Satanists, including Billy Graham. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." But I like how he has uncovered all the Brotherhood symbolism in trademarks, logos, and government stuff. He does have a lot of valuable information intermingled with those wacky theories. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." So what about his claims of world leaders, being some kind of race called Repitilians? I think he has the symbolism right, you know, like Serpent Set, but as a fact that President Bush shape-shifts into a reptile behind the scenes is laughable, and makes me think I've heard everything. So he even claimed that he was the Son of God? Jesus himself? What do you think of the World Trade Center being a complete set-up for the Iraq War?IP: Logged |

Of course, that doesn't mean that the powers-that-be didn't use that to their benefit to take away more of our freedoms. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." An interesting theory I have about David Icke is that while he may make some outrageous claims, he is not a threat to the powers that be...coz everyone would read some of his stuff and think hes crazy!! However, this may be a tactical manouver by David. If he appears crazy then he will be left alone while he can still make some claims about other things that 'ring true'.Does that make sense? Do you all know that David Icke was a sports presenter on English TV,I grew up seeing him on the TV at the weekend,to a lot of people his face is or was a household name(if you get what I mean) I remember then he re-surfaced a bit later and I remember he was on Wogan(an english chat show)and other similar things, like daytime TV talking about his spiritual re-birth.I can remember that at one stage he used to wear torquoise all the time and appealed to everyone that they should wear torquoise. I dont wish to appear to be mocking him,I would like to read about and study what he says if I get the time. You know,at least he's trying, asking searching. IP: Logged |

It wouldn't surprise me if David Icke was actually working for the government, to spread disinformation and to make people with ligitimate claims against the government look like conspricy nuts. Unfortunately, the truth will never get to the general public as long as there are people out there like David Icke who take away the credibility of people who are trying to take a stand against the government or capitalism, or just trying to make a change in society. Like Mulder and Scully used to say, "The Truth is Out There", the problem is trying to determine what is the truth and what is just contrived dis-information and lies spread by the "powers that be" in order to distract and confuse us. Bill Cooper found many such sources of intentional disinformation (see his book, Behold A Pale Horse). They are usually operatives of the CIA. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." So do you believe, that there is a government behind the government? A secret government? Are who we see, just pupeteers, behind a grander scheme? I was thinking a lot about this today, and got me thinking that it's perhaps very true. I'm not sure though. Part of me is already saying, that voting for the President is a complete cover-up, and that the popular or elective vote, mean absoulatly nothing. That the President, is already chosen before hand. Randall, do you agree that perhaps there is such people, like Illuminatis'? I keep thinking of all the brainwash I see on television. IP: Logged |

Here's are lines from David Icke's website, that I found are rather interesting. People do not rebel against not being free when they think they are!
The Illuminati have been working to a long planned and coordinated agenda to create a world government, central bank, army, and a micro-chipped population linked to a global computer. Anyone with an operational brain can see that all these things are now emerging ever more rapidly. -David Icke IP: Logged |

Starlover,I am not going to go into details, there are a lot of things that our government does that are not very nice, and many things that are kept hidden from the public. I speak not from reading books or websites, but from my own experience which I will not discuss on a public forum. Don't take anything as fact until you have researched something yourself. The whole purpose of DIS-information is to confuse you so that you will not know the difference between what is real and lies. There are also a lot of paranoid "conspiracy nuts" out there. Take everything into perspective and trust your own judgement. Heidi IP: Logged |
