Anafaery, your email wasn't available. I think I have to get it through Randall. Say Randall, can I have Anafaery's email address? Thanks! p.s. to everyone - I gave "Gooberz" to a dear friend of mine for her birthday and she grew misty-eyed. She knows how much it means to me and is so excited to start it. I love "starting" people, or "hooking them up", so to speak, on "Gooberz" and Linda. What a gift! I only wish I could have had time to get it in hardcover for her, as you know, that is how Linda would have wanted it. Love LMB IP: Logged |

My friend just went to cripple creek and sent me the brochure to the Last Dollar Inn. The Goodman Room
"The largest of the original 1898 Brownstone,is located on the second flooand is decorated in a rose victorian style. With th Queen Bed, and a full baththis room offers a pleasant relaxing stay. You can gaze out the bay window over the town,as people have done , for more than a century. If you look real close you just may see an old miner on his way to the nearby saloon." she also sent me a picture of the Hatden House, but I haven't figured how to post a link for it yet. I think she became displeased with the gambling that started there. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Yes, when I went to Cripple Creek it had a strong impression on me... yet a faded impression. Like a waterstain. As if it was once something great but now taken over by other activities such as gambling. Still, worth a visit for any Linda-lover. LMB IP: Logged |
