At the beginning of Love Signs, Linda says that she and Michael placed some roses for Sally under a statue at St Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan, which "miraclized".Can anyone tell me which statue it was? My copy now has that page missing. Thank you, knowflakes. IP: Logged |

The statue of Saint Francis of Assisi, of course! ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Thank you Randall! That is what I remembered, but wanted to check my memory was correct. St Francis is the patron saint of those who work with animals especially animal welfare groups and environmental groups. With her strong support of Greenpeace, he was the perfect saint for Linda. IP: Logged |

I think that's just a private message to Sally. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Greetings...Miracalized roses meant that after they had left them at the statue, they never just died or turned black, they simply dried and maintained their vibrant red color, and stayed intact without crumbling... roses that maintained their beauty. I believe that Linda had several sets of miraclized roses about her house and chapel in Cripple Creek. Hope that helps a bit. Thanks, A man! I was going to guess that, but I was afraid I was wrong. Linda mentions how roses she got with Sally did the same thing. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." thank you azelsion! i had often wondered what that term meant. i have no experience in catholicism at all, and i thought that was probably a catholic-ish term. was bugging me to not know what she meant, lol. i really miss her so much sometimes. one day i want to go to cripple creek. not to bother anyone there asking about linda, i wouldnt do that, but just to see what magic i feel there. it would be so interesting to see where linda found some peace and inspiration, and also i do have a fondness for 'ghost' type towns. i do so love old things. cancer rules my 7th depending on what house system is used, and that might be why... but i love old buildings and places. so, theres a couple of reasons why id like to visit there. i have to admit that my favorate part of star signs was where she talked about cc, and tesla too. by far those were my favorate parts. dunno why. ~faery IP: Logged |

Her house is now a Bed and Breakfast. I hear that they kept Linda's room untouched. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

oh wouldnt that be so amazing! i would that so much! talk about feeling close to linda... wow. i would have thought that her family would have inherited her personal possessions. oh well. i looked at their homepage and they dont make mention of linda at all, which is nice. the ones who really would value that information would find it out anyway right? does anyone know how they happened to buy it? did they know linda? i just find it remarkable that they didnt change her room. thats pretty cool. they must have some respect for her, and especially if they arent 'cashing in' on her name in their ads. good on them. one day i will go there, i dunno when, but i know i will. ive wanted to since i was what, 18 years old and read star signs? just sounded like a fascinating place. oh btw any idea if the ghosts are still there? i wonder if anyones ever heard them mention the ghosts. Go to www.consciousevolution.com and click on the picture of Linda. There is an article by Maria Barron called The Mother Of The New Age. The article is full of great info and pictures about Linda's life. ------------------ Peace cannot be achieved through violence, it can only be attained through understanding. - Ralph Waldo Emerson - IP: Logged |

ana - i had the immense fortune of going to cripple creek a few years ago. the owners of the last dollar inn are so sweet and understanding concerning Linda. they want to preserve as much as they want to. they gave me an informal tour and it was just breathtaking. I have a picture of me walking out of the house and the look on my face is priceless. it looks like i was just named as winning a million dollars. love LMB IP: Logged |

Am I the only one who wonders why Linda's family would let someting so precious and so close to their kin go out of the family? She put so much of herself into it that it seems such a shame to let Cripple Creek go without any recognition of what went on before. It would've made a great museum or place of teaching. And, although, I do respect the new owners decision not to advertise (good on them in this money grabbing society, part of me is v sad that Linda's "refuge" is not acknowledged. A conundrum for me and many more I guess! Or maybe it is a case of wanting it all...IP: Logged |

Sweetpeas, I just checked out that article you gave the link to and, although I knew a lot of it, it was good to read through again and remember what I had forgotten, it you know what I mean. Thank you. ps: I have some lavender that I picked for my daughter's room just after she was released from hospital having nearly died from meningitis. I just wanted to make it smell nice but 4 years later it is still there, dried (I didn't do anything) and still smelling beautiful. Is that miraclized or just was I just lucky and they dried out? I think my daughter being alive is a miracle but maybe she had more help than I realise. IP: Logged |

hi lmb i rarely check this forum as its fairly slow usually, and ive got me 'ands full with the others that must have been wonderful... i would love to do that one day! i know i will too, it may take 2 years or 5 or 10, but one day i know i will go there. i would love to sleep in lindas room *happy sigh* i think that the owners are top notch. good for them! they could have really taken advantage of her name, but they didnt, and honor her instead. thats so wonderful. i do wonder about the family though. it just seems a little odd to me that they wouldnt have kept her things. maybe they werent left to them. i dunno and its none of my business, i am just naturally curious as i like to have an understanding of everything under the sun if that makes sense. wheeee! im just a little scattered today. ------------------ where i end and you begin there's a gap in between there's a gap where we meet where i end and you begin and i'm sorry for us the dinosaurs roam the earth the sky turns green where i end and you begin i am up in the clouds i am up in the clouds and i can't and i can't come down IP: Logged |

Hi ana, Hi Randall. Randall, I know I'm a bit scarce around here sometimes and I'm sorry. Been missing Linda lately. Stressful time and I could use the guidance and the feeling I feel when I know she's there. IP: Logged |
