Dear Knowflakes Hi. I want to share a part of my life with you.When I was a teenager I was interested in astrology and during that time I read many books and when I came across Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs it kind of changed my views and I thought to myself “ God all that this lady says is so much different from many others and so much more truth is there”. Later on I read Star Signs and that influenced my life to a great extent. I believed in all that was there in that book and started out by becoming a vegetarian. And I am still a veg. despite all efforts from my family to change me back. Actually I have been brought up in a strict and conservative background and so I couldn’t talk to anyone at home about my interest in astrology. I believed what Linda said about words, information and knowledge coming to you when you are ready. I guess I wasn’t really “ready” then as I lost all my books(knowledge as you can say) when I went to college. At college one is supposed to be “grown up” and mature and so whenever I talked to any of my friends about astrology they just said it was a pastime stuff for them and are no more interested in it.

I also forgot about it for nearly TEN years. Now I am married and have two wonderful boys. Just three months back we bought our PC. And I don’t k-now why it occurred to me that Linda must be having a website of her own and I just typed Linda Goodman and clicked. And as I rolled thro’ the innumerable sites I came across this one. I was horrified to know that Linda is no more. I couldn’t believe it. Wasn’t it in her book that I read about physical immortality. For almost a week I kept thinking about it. Finally I came to the conclusion that it was a matter of choices. She was the one who also said that “when we die or if we die”. I accepted her passing away as her choice. She will return “when she wants to and if she wants to”.

I feel I have a choice once again to continue to be ignorant or strive for truth and knowledge. And I am choosing the latter now. I am beginning to feel as if I am “ready” to start my search or to k-now my now.

I am so very grateful to Randall for this site and to all you wonderful people out there who share so much of information. I am making another beginning and k-nowing this time I am not alone but many-many others are with me. I shall always have the feeling of losing someone who I considered as my GURU once. Though I never knew Linda personally but I will always miss her.

Welcome to LL, Ruman, and best wishes on your journey. I hope you will find this to be an exciting place of discovery and learning, as I have. We all miss Linda in her physical manifestation, but her spirit lives on...

THANKS GUYS for such a warm welcome.I didnt expect so many responses. I just love this place and have been visiting it all this time and I felt that I can no longer hold myself back from it. And yes this is an exciting place and many things are very thought provoking also.Thanks again.

Physical Immortality is possible for ordinary people. Linda GOODMAN was not an ordinary woman. She is a goddess, like Sarasvati.

Some people say that she was not just an astrologer but a preacher also. After reading her books it does make sense. Dosent it?

I believe Linda was a Goddess with many insights, who had wonderful things to share with us. I would classify her more as a teacher than a preacher. Linda eschewed any type of organized religion, so I doubt she would see herself as any sort of preacher, which implies religious affiliation.
