A FAB 4 BEATLE with WINGS...

Wings 'Venus and Mars' - Archive Collection Remastered - Set to be re-issued on September 22nd/23rd, 2014

BEETLE + WINGS = JOURNEY

Don't STOP Believing - Journey

Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere...
Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit (see Detroit Red Wings sticker on Paul's guitar)
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere...

A singer in a smoky room,
the smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on...

Strangers, waiting, up and down the Boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
STREETLIGHT PEOPLE, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night

Working hard to get my fill,
everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice,
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were Born to sing the Blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers, waiting, up and down the Boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
STREETLIGHT PEOPLE, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night

DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'
Hold on to that feelin'
STREETLIGHT PEOPLE

DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'
Hold on to that feelin'
STREETLIGHT PEOPLE

DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'
Hold on to that feelin'
STREETLIGHT PEOPLE

A FAB 4 BEATLE with WINGS...

LOve & LIght,

BROKEN WINGS - MR. MISTER (See "Ms." America below)

Baby don't understand
Why we can't just hold on
To each other's hands

This time might be the last
I fear unless I make it all too clear
I need you so

Take these broken Wings
And learn to fly again
And learn to live so free
And when we HEAR the voices sing
The BOOK OF LOVE will open up
And let us in

Take these broken Wings

Baby I think tonight
We can take what was wrong
To make it right

Baby it's all I know
That you're half of the flesh
And blood makes me whole
Need you so

Take these broken Wings
And learn to fly again
And learn to live so free
And when we HEAR the voices sing
The BOOK OF LOVE will open up
And let us in

Take these broken Wings
You got to learn to fly
And learn to live so free
And when we hear the voices sing

Let us in
Let us in

Baby it's all I know
That you're half of the flesh
And blood makes me whole
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah so

Take these broken Wings
And learn to fly again
And learn to live so free
And when we HEAR the voices sing
The BOOK OF LOVE will open up
And let us in

Take these broken Wings
You got to learn to fly
And learn to live so free
And when we HEAR the voices sing
The BOOK OF LOVE will open up
And let us in

MS. AMERICAN PIE - Don MClean

A long, long time ago...
I can still remember
How that music used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those people dance
And, maybe, they'd be happy for a while.

But February made me shiver
With every paper I'd deliver.
Bad news on the doorstep;
I couldn't take one more step.

I can't remember if I cried
When I read about his widowed bride,
But something touched me deep inside
The day the music died.

So bye-bye, Miss American Pie. (Ms. Miss/ see Mr. Mister above)
Drove my Chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
And them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
Singin', "this'll be the day that I die.
"this'll be the day that I die."

Did you write the Book of Love,
And do you have faith in God above,
If the Bible tells you so?
Do you believe in rock 'n roll,
Can Music save your mortal soul,

And can you teach me how to dance real slow?

Well, I know that you're in love with him
`cause I saw you dancin' in the gym.
You both kicked off your shoes.
Man, I dig those rhythm and blues.

I was a lonely teenage broncin' buck
With a pink carnation and a pickup truck,
But I knew I was out of luck
The day the music died.

I started singin',
"bye-bye, Miss american pie."
Drove my Chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
And singin', "this'll be the day that I die.
"this'll be the day that I die."

Now for ten years we've been on our own
And moss grows fat on a Rollin' Stone,
But that's not how it used to be.
When the jester sang for the King and Queen,
In a coat he borrowed from James Dean
And a voice that came from you and me,

Oh, and while the King was looking down,
The jester stole his thorny Crown.
The courtroom was adjourned;
No verdict was returned.
And while Lennon read a book of Marx,
The Quartet practiced in the park,
And we sang dirges in the dark
The day the music died.

We were singing,
"bye-bye, Miss american pie."
Drove my Chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
And singin', "this'll be the day that I die.
"this'll be the day that I die."

Helter skelter in a summer swelter.
The birds flew off with a fallout shelter,
Eight miles high and falling fast.
It landed foul on the grass.
The players tried for a forward pass,
With The Jester on the sidelines in a cast.

Now the half-time air was sweet perfume
While The Sergeants played a marching tune.
We all got up to dance,
Oh, but we never got the chance!
`cause the players tried to take the field;
The marching band refused to yield.
Do you recall what was revealed
The day the music died?

We started singing,
"bye-bye, Miss american pie."
Drove my Chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
And singin', "this'll be the day that I die.
"this'll be the day that I die."

Oh, and there we were all in one place,
A generation lost in space
With no time left to start again.
So come on: jack be nimble, jack be quick!
Jack flash sat on a candlestick
Cause fire is the devil's only friend.

Oh, and as I watched him on the stage
My hands were clenched in fists of rage.
No Angel born in Hell
Could break that satan's spell.
And as the flames climbed high into the night
To light the sacrificial rite,
I saw satan laughing with delight
The day the music died

He was singing,
"bye-bye, Miss american pie."
Drove my Chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
And singin', "this'll be the day that I die.
"this'll be the day that I die."

I met a girl who sang the blues
And I asked her for some happy news,
But she just smiled and turned away.
I went down to the sacred store
Where I'd heard the music years before,
But the man there said the music wouldn't play.

And in the streets: the children screamed,
The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed.
But not a word was spoken;

The church bells all were broken.
And the three men I admire most:
The father, son, and the holy ghost,
They caught the last train for the coast
The day the music died.

And they were singing,
"bye-bye, Miss american pie."
Drove my Chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
And them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
Singin', "this'll be the day that I die.
"this'll be the day that I die."

They were singing,
"bye-bye, Miss american pie."
Drove my Chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
Singin', "this'll be the day that I die."

THE WIND CRIES MARY - JIMI HENDRIX

After all the jacks are in their boxes,
and the clowns have all gone to bed,
you can hear happiness staggering on down the street,
FOOTprints dressed in RED.

And the wind whispers Mary...

A broom is drearily sweeping
up the broken Pieces of yesterday's life.

Somewhere a Queen is weeping,
somewhere a King has no wife.

And the wind it cries Mary.

The traffic lights they turn BLUE tomorrow
And shine their emptiness down on my bed,
The tiny island Sags downstream
'Cos the life that they lived is dead.

And the wind screams Mary.

Will the wind ever remember
The names it has blown in the past,
And with this crutch, its old age and its wisdom
It whispers, "No, this will be the last."

And The Wind Cries Mary.

CROSSTOWN TRAFFIC - JIMI HENDRIX

You jump in front of my car when you,
you know all the time
Ninty miles an hour, girl, is the speed I drive
You tell me it's alright, you don't mind a little pain
You say you just want me to take you for a drive

You're just like crosstown traffic
So hard to get through to you
Crosstown traffic
I don't need to run over you
Crosstown traffic
All you do is slow me down
And I'm tryin' to get on the other side of town

I'm not the only Soul who's accused of hit and run
Tire tracks all across your back
I can, I can see you had your fun
But, darlin' can't you see my signals turn from GREEN to RED
And with you I can see a 'Traffic Jam' straight up ahead...

You're just like crosstown traffic
So hard to get through to you
Crosstown traffic
I don't need to run over you
Crosstown traffic
All you do is slow me down
And I got better things on the other side of town

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDo7g8FzRNY

http://www.davemasonmusic.com/traffic-jam

btw. Dave Mason is definitely a TAURUS!..born on May 10th 1946 in Worcester, England.

(Crosstown traffic refers primarily to vehicular traffic between Manhattan's East Side and Manhattan's West Side.)

‘SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY DAY’ PROCLAIMED'

Paul McCartney is back in the N.S.S.R. – the North Star State Region.

The legendary musician returns to Minnesota Saturday night for an outdoor concert at Target Field as part of his “Out There” tour. It’s the 72-year-old’s first show in the state in nearly a decade (Paul played the Xcel Energy Center in 2005).

In honor of his return, Gov. Mark Dayton declared Aug. 2 2014 to be Sir Paul McCartney Day in Minnesota, calling the Liverpudlian “one of the most influential and inspiring musicians in history.”

Dear Mr. Governor Mark Dayton,

I'm writing to inform you of a spelling error in the above official document declaring August 2nd to be 'Sir Paul McCartney Day' in Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 Seas. I just want to let you know that the abbreviation for SAINT, is not SIR, sir. It is ST., which is easy to remember because it is spelled the same as our capitol city of St. Paul.

Sincerely,
Ms. Stephanie Lindquist

Their playing "man songs" on the radio (Angry Young Man, Simple Man, Nowhere Man) and the Disc Jockey said something about playing "man songs" because they're "looking for a few Good Men"...lol...so thinkin' I might need more space...

Thank you, Randall. (I forgot my Crosstown Traffic though...I'll have to fix.)

I do have a pretty funny USSR story to tell though. A couple times I've heard Paul tell the story of when he met the Defense Minister of Russia. In his story, the Defense Minister tells Paul the first record he ever bought was Love Me Do. Anyway, I think Paul's story is particularly entertaining because a Russian official purchased something from me too. I have an eBay store and having sold a lot of NIB (new in box) Spy Net toys over the past couple years, I was quite surprised when the Russian Consulate made a Spy Net toy purchase from my eBay store. Hard not to say...I sure hope you guys have more advanced spy technology than children's toys.

Then again, I do recall well the day my youngest daughter got a Nintendo DS for Christmas...suddenly my high-tech cell phone felt like it was made by Fischer-Price instead of Nokia.

The Wonder Woman part was my three year old son's idea. He got a Wonder Woman cut-out, Wonder Woman Frisbee toy, and the little Wonder Woman sheet of paper that comes with the toy in a Happy Meal (Don't judge!). While I was putting the post together, my son was trying to drive me crazy by continuously handing me his Wonder Woman toys and paper--finally I noticed the similarity with the 'Wings'.

I love that song!..I tease my Pisces daughter that if she ever decides to get into the superhero business she should consider calling herself "Titanium Girl" because her name is Tatiyana and the atomic number for Titanium is prominent in her date of birth.

The song includes the Marvel Comics characters Magneto, Titanium Man, and the Crimson Dynamo in its story.

MICHAEL AARON GOODMAN = MOE = THE INCREDIBLE HULK

(MOE is a nickname for MOSES)

MOSES - Greek. "Drawn from the water."

Also...MICHAEL GOODMAN = MOE GOODMAN = THE INCREDIBLE HULK

(Also "Count" Dracula, but I have doubts about whether or not he would admit to this last one...shhh!)

In 1929, the first Academy Award ceremony was held at the Hollywood Hotel Roosevelt.
