Randall, you know Dreams of a Samurai, the Red Hot Chili Peppers new "fish" song... quote: "A metamorphosis samurai Y’got a little lord fish and you don’t know why I got a Metamorphosis samuraiPaint your face cause I’m a black foot I thought I counted up the fireflies Close enough to get a good look Time to mobilize A Metamorphosis samurai Y’got a little lord fish and I don’t know why I got a Metamorphosis samurai..."
Don't you think it's a quite a coincidence that I did happen to bring the Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Muse" sticker with me to a festival in Omaha/Council Bluffs where I knew I would get an "All-Access/Media" backstage pass and I did happen to show it to the guys on tour bus, asking if anyone could assist me in finding the person who gave me the RHCP "Muse" sticker ??? And then the Dreams of Samurai song goes on to say... quote: The day they found you on a tour bus The news was barren as a desert bone The tabloids made a kind of small fuss A couple pictures shownI’m a lonely lad I’ve lost myself out on the range I don’t remember much So don’t ask me I’ve gone insane Slowly turning into driftwood No one ever wants to die alone Thinking that a pretty gift could Make you less unknown Dirty sneakers on the pavement The brilliant features of a common man See the miracle of your life No one ever can." ~Dreams of a Samurai-RHCP
*** The tour bus where I asked for help finding the Scorpio who gave me the RHCP "Muse" sticker was located on the other side of the parking lot of this Lynyrd Skynyrd trailer... *** "Spinning Knot that is on my heart is like a Bit of light in a touch of dark you got Sneak attack from the Zodiac But I see your fire spark Eat the breeze and go Blow by blow and go away What do you say?" ~Dark Necessities - RHCP ^^ You might call Lynyrd Skynyrd "The Breeze"...but they call me Zodiac, or The Priestess. That is my bar business card above ^...and I am looking for the Scorpio who gave me the RHCP "Muse" sticker in the photo below... ------------------ Got the Wings of Heaven on my Shoes. I'm a dancin man and I just can't lose. You know it's all right. Its ok. I'll live to see another day. We can try to understand The New York Times' effect on man. Whether you're a Brother or whether you're a Mother, you're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.

Thanks, Randall. Kind of a funny story how I came up with the business cards. I was here... ...spending too much time at The Joint in Minneapolis being the resident astrologer. One night I was working on getting belligerently drunk when a Page & Plant song, from their Walking Into Clarksdale album, called Most High, started playing at the bar... "Who guards the truth Oh lord most high A frightened dove in a starless sky, oh-oh, oh oh oh So high, most high, so high Who hides the east from the blind man's eye In the land of peace Where the righteous cry, oh-oh, oh oh oh So high, most high, so high Where are the words? I'm the King Who moves the stars and then the sun To the light where my spirit was born Bring this wanderer home... " Being belligerently drunk, naturally, I started publicly ranting and raving about Robert Plant ripping off my "celestial glory" because I, of course, was the Queen who moves the stars and then the sun... Later--likely after nursing a hangover--I made up the business cards. So, to be fair, Randall, I must share this "celestial glory" you bestow with Jimmy Page & Robert Plant, who are deserving of creative credit, as I borrowed the idea from them. Sincerely, HRH The Highest Priestess of the Page & Plant Church IP: Logged |

Sometimes the Scorpio who gave me the RHCP sticker and I would go to The Joint and the bar next door, The Cabooze. They have live music at The Cabooze. It's hard to see, but I think The Cabooze sign said "Prince Family Reunion" the night that photo above was taken. ^ Anyways, we really didn't go there for live music at night, although we did go to open mic/auditions very early one day and I remember being a bit surprised The Cabooze was open at such an early hour. Instead, we went early in the day, usually for breakfast at The Joint. Hands down my all-time favorite breakfast joint was Sunny Side-Up though. Sunny Side-Up was also near a beach we'd frequent. "Someone start the car Time to go...you’re the best I know My Sunny Side has Up and died I’m betting that when we collide The Universe will shift into a low My what a good day For a walk outside I’d like to get to know You a little better baby God knows that I really tried" Wet Sand - RHCP IP: Logged |

If I remember right, Sunny Side Up closed twice. It closed for a while, re-opened, but then closed again for good. It's #7 on the list of the 26 most missed restaurants in Minneapolis...http://minneapolis.eater.com/maps/readers-vote-mplss-26-most-missed-restaurants IP: Logged |
