i would have thought immortality conferred at least a little respect for others and self-esteem that would be above such ridiculous attempts to create an argument!here's a link, MAK, to the story about bettencourt and a picture, though hard to say how much surgery/makeup is responsible for her youthful glow and lack of lines... http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jul/09/liliane-bettencourt-profile IP: Logged |

jonah, Mak is a very abrupt fellow. Dont take it to heart. That's just the way he communicates. I know, because I've been here for years and had some exchanges with him. He's actually a nice guy and very interested in the subject matter and you should do some work on your ego, because you seem pretty touchy. If your confident in what youre saying, then whatever anyone else may say wouldnt effect you in such a way. IP: Logged |

T,You're right I am a bit touchy, and I could do some work on my ego. But rudeness can not be excused. He's obviously a grown man and should treat people with the respect and dignity they deserve. IP: Logged |

Another thing I love about being an Immortal is the astral travels. Most of my friends and all of my immediate family are all dead.Well most night's when I'm asleep I join my family and friends in the astral world, where we have great times just talking, having adventures, and playing pool and snooker. Strange to some people but very true. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the link, kat. She could be taken for fifty perhaps? She is in her late eighties. And of course movie stars never age. Except for Sara Jessica Parker lol.IP: Logged |

I'm an immortal! i love life too much, so death is out of my question. When I read chapter 9 in Star signs I never doubted, I only got reminded of a true fact. Finding out that Linda died made me sad, but then I smiled shortly after... Of course she's not dead...IP: Logged |

Telling yourself that you are immortal sounds a lot like law of attraction and what The Secret constantly teaches.------------------ Echoes fade and memories die: Autumn frosts have slain July Still she haunts me, phantomwise, Alice moving under skies Never seen by waking eyes - Lewis Carrol, Alice in Wonderland IP: Logged |

Hi Delos.I too had a remarkable experience when I read chapter 9 of Linda's Book Star Signs. when I read that we are all Immortals and have simply forgotten this truth, my heart sang out. (I know this sounds a bit naff) But It's true. Before I read this I was as one of my cousins so nicely put it, "A waste of space" I was 28/29 at the time and a bit of a party animal, I was into everything, drugs, drink, and sleeping with loose women. Looking back on it I was a bit of a mess. and was probably heading for an early grave. And now my life is very different, I've been off drink and drugs for over 20 years, and like most people work hard for a liviing. I recently took voluntary Redundancy, and have just bought myself a business which looks very promising indeed. So Linda not only saved my life, she helped to stop killing myself and make something of my life. let me know what yous think. IP: Logged |

I am not heavily into kissing men, but don't mention it, it's forgotten. Your entry about astral travel is interesting. It almost suggests that, since there is no death, physical immortality is unnecessary?IP: Logged |

Mak,I'm glad you found my entry about astral travelling interesting. It's true there is no death, we will always exist in one form or another. It might be in spirit form when we go to heaven, or in this physical body of ours. When you become an immortal, thats your choice of course, and master your body as light you can travel between both of these worlds using your physical body and your spirit body or both if you want. I have not mastered these miracles yet. But I know that when I an ready my Teacher will appear. I would not say Physical Immortality is unneccessary, quite the reverse. We where designed, created and made to be immortal. As you may know or not know, I don't know what your take is in all this is. We are all made in the image of the creaters, the god's if you like. So we have god-like powers which includes the ability to live forever. By the way I was just joking when I said kiss and make up. That's all for now, speak to you soon. IP: Logged |

I still look like I'm in my twenties and I haven't been spiraling. I try to live a good life. I eat very healthy foods and a lot of fruit. I stay away from meat and alcohol, drugs and smoking. It makes me wonder if just these things and simply knowing the truth makes you an immortal.IP: Logged |

Hi Julah,What so called age are you, If you don't mind me asking. I'm in my so called Early 50's and I still get comments from old class mates like, are you sure you're 50, and we're getting on a bit, well some of us are. I also get a lot of attention from women in their early twenties. I don't know how to handle this, i think if I told them my so called real age they would run a mile. what do you think. Please let me know. ------------------ Jonah IP: Logged |
