I don't know about other dimensions - I know there are many who have tried mapping them and such - but I only know that I do sometimes feel a shift in consciousness. I also agree that if we feel our energy level drained we have a choice to follow that flow of energy or reverse it and let the tide of energy lift us up...despite if we are around people of a draining nature or not.

As a Reiki practitioner I know that the energies of the universe are ever present with us and need only for us to open up to them. If we walk through an abyss then it *is* our choice - subconscious or not. As I am guilty of making those choices in my life and also responsible for making the choices to bring myself out of it. It's gloriously empowering to realize that it's all up to us. And we get much farther faster when we make that conscious shift of belief as well - because blaming others for our misdeeds or misfortunes does nothing to teach us - or to allow our spirits to evolve for the better.

Well, since this is my first post - I suppose I shouldn't go on about too much I am happy to find this place - and say a HALOOOO to all!

Peace and blessings,

Willow

Great first Post, Willow! Now which dimension have you been hiding in?

I just spoke with a guy who believes that he died in a car crash, but lived (instantly went to a parallel Earth).

i agree with everyone

am i allowed to ask something...it kinda just occured to me....well you know how everyone says that teenagers often feel emotions that they can't explain...eg all of a sudden feeling really mad and so forth and having no reason (this also applies to women who are pregnant) but maybe they feel this because at such times when our bodies are experiencing these "changes" maybe we are more perceptive to what we are experiencing on parallel(sp?) planes...
just a thought..

Randall, where do you find your friends?

That's sounds like a fascinating conversation to have with someone.

I agree with his belief!

Oh boy. Too bad no one's been to this topic in a few weeks.

Mr.Randall-- that thing about the colors, and what if what I call red I really see as blue, and what you call red you really see as yellow, but we all run around calling it red because that's what the teacher called it... I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!!! I have wondered about that since I was tiny! Like 5 or 6!
Thank You! thank you for that. I'm not the only one, and here I am, exactly where I'm supposed to be.

On a slightly different note, more along the topic lines, if any of you have a copy of Alcoholics Anonymous... read between the lines and it teaches how to create your own reality.

What greater switch than from hopeless alcoholic/ drug addict to--- happy homemaker mother of 3?

To truly witness fellow souls altering their reality, attend some of your friendly local Open A.A. meetings...the Universe has great things in store for us... and miracles happen on a nano-second basis.

We'd love to have you...
---thanks for having me!!!

I have to throw an objection in the wind regarding the colours of light. They have specific values that can be proved in labs, so therefore are not dependent on the observer. The eyes of each person however could be slightly different and each persons brain could register the light slightly different, but if someone says this is blue, then all people will map that frequeny in their minds as being of colour blue, so it could be relative. I wrote a small theory concerning the infinite spectrum at http://www.megspace.com/science/porsche911/qed/spectrum.html if anyone's interested.

All that proves is that everything "blue" is blue (same frequecy), but not how any of us will see it (due to individual differences in our rods and cones). I could always be wrong, of course.
