Lately I've been pondering this and putting it to use - that we create our own reality. That we call to us what we need to learn. That we have CHOICES and we can turn a bad day into a good one or vice versa. What do you all think about this? LMB IP: Logged |

LMB I totally agree. Sometimes all you need to do is to smile to yourself instead of frowning and whether you mean it or not it immediately lifts you up.IP: Logged |

Hiya, I think reality is what you make it, we have the capacity to be and do whatever our mindframe allows us. I think that once you understand your nature, you can work with it to become the person you really are. I don't think you can be just anyone, mind you, if you try to be loud and gregarious when really your quiet and demure I think the reality you have created could end up throttling you. IP: Logged |

Yeah, it's like if you're colour-blind - for you the reality is very much different than to other people. This reality thing I think is easiest to understand when you compare how you see a certain colour and how others see it. Well, not everyone, but many people. For example, my sister and I have a totally different perspective of what blue-green or blue-grey is, or even some shades of green colour. What she sees as green, for example, I see as blue, etc. We fought many times over this and none of us could persuade the other. Makes you think. This is actually what made me think as a child that we each see things differently, so the world is not the same for everyone and therefore it is the manifestation of our mind(s).

What I see as red could be your green, but the color could be what most people would call blue. If we see green but have been calling it red, then to us it would be red. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Are all of us traveling in different frequencies based on our enlightment?Like for instance, some of us here, have already achieved the 4th dimensional reality, while others are stuck in the 3rd, at all the same time? Isn't strange, that when your having a very intense conversation with another, and you feel that everything around the two of you feels strangely unreal, and the both of you, feel like your in the center of the universe? Isn't this what you mean by creating your own reality? ...And most of all, is it REAL? IP: Logged |

Yes, I think it is real because we each have our own reality. Randall, exactly! And if we take this further: maybe many people the society calls crazy are just seeing things differently than the majority... And who says the majority is right? We all know that's not the case. IP: Logged |

Oh, what a topic! Morgana I love it! You know, there is a man I know who claims he speeks to aliens. OK, he does recieve medications to certain mental disease, but I was wondering, how frustrated would any of us be if we we could't make our surrouning believe in something we KNOW. I bet the way I see the world would be a one way ticket to the mental institution, if I tried to explain it so any conservative physician. IP: Logged |

At least you won't be alone in that institution, Randall. I bet I'm not alone about this one, but for me, the best things always happen just as soon as I give up all hope of making them happen. It's held true my entire life. C&DIP: Logged |

Thanks for the welcome morgana!I think sometimes people don't let that work for them. In a way it's almost as if it's hard to believe that we are smarter than we think we are. C&D IP: Logged |

There's this excellent book and it's pretty simple to read. I have had mine since I was 16 and I still read it regularly today ...six years later . I swear by it...and it has definately worked miracles! Its ... :"TNT The Power Within You" by Claude M. Bristol It took me about 2 months of constant practice to successfully visualize and "create my own reality" per say ... but once I got the hang of it...it has worked for me ever since. One of the famous quotes is "If you believe it...it is so." IP: Logged |
