I hope I don't sound wacko as I said this to my brother, and he now think's I'm pretty dumb, but what if you could learn how to teleport?

You could certainly do it, in astral form, correct? It would save up a lot of money and tedious I.D checks! You could easily escape from Big Brother and live happily ever after. I know it sounds dumb, but can't we be trained? Do you have to be a Master?

Wow, I'm a very silly Pisces!! I think Linda was going to write about teleportation...but she never got to.

Just out of pure curiosity, how old are you Randall? Do you still look like the oval picture?

Yeah, teleportation would be so cool, but I always compare things like that to the stereotypical Heaven where you can do anything you want. How fun would it be to able to go anywhere in an instant? It's a great notion but in the end, I think it'd make everything feel cheep - the same feeling from clocking a game using cheats. Sure, you got to see the end, and now get to play another game, but it feels nowhere the same, and the feelings everything isn't it? One quote from Pearl Jam feels like it needs to be said here: "Torture follows reward, which follows torture, which follows reward..." - Satan's Bed.

Age? What is age? I look the same, but somewhat younger (changed my hairstyle).

*sigh*

OK, if you're gonna play like that, how many times has the Earth transited the winter equinox while your present phisical body has walked THIS Earth?

Conversely, you could state the time of your first breath based on the Gregorian Calandar?

Following Linda's example, I try to avoid revealing my solar age whenever possible.

No probs. Curiosity kills anyway right?

Plus the answer would be completely arbitrary so why ask in the first place, right?

It is neither here nor there, or anywhere

Sorry Randall, but curiousity does get the best of people. I believe Randall said he was a snake in Chinese Astrology, that would make him be born around 1966-1967 or 1977-1978. Which is during the year of the snake.

Finding a way to escape the modern political/banking/employment systems are not the big problems that immortals have. When you look into the face of an immortal, it just never occurs to you to ask for an ID. I know a woman who looks somewhere between 30 and 50 (I've heard a few people specualte on her age and none are even close). She recently moved to the small town where I live and managed to get a job, a house, and a bank account without presenting any ID whatsoever. And as far as not telling everyone she meets about her true age and experiences...well, it just isn't helpful for everyone to know. Withholding information isn't the same as lyng. Very few 3-year-old children would understand or be interested in the ancient text "The Hypostasis of the Archons". When someone has been around a really long time, most of us seem as sweet and jolly and innocent as a child. They are not inclined to burden us with information that will cause confusion and misunderstanding. When the student is ready, the teacher always appears. As for teleporting, it is about speeding up the atomic structure of the physical body using the power of the mind, then projecting that atomic structure to the desired location at the speed of thought, then slowing the whole thing down again to the point of visibility. Simple in theory. I hear it takes a lot of understanding to put it to practice. There are many reports of bi-location occuring if you look for them. Thanks for listening. You people are great.

PS: I'm pretty sure Randall is either 19 or 112. (Just Joking)

Randall will never leak it out!

Anyway, I love what you said about teleportation Fish Kitten. I picked up a book one day, that had everything to do with teleportation, and what you said was exactly what I read.

It's a meditative process in which you're supposed to invision your destination. Once you do that, you charge the energy in your body, and feel yourself lift into high frequency! Very difficult, but if you practice and meditate very hard then it's quite possible within a 6-9 month period (notice the powerful numbers). Same goes for any kind of mind power such as telekinesis and telepathy! The point is, practice makes perfect.

It's not really so hard. It's all about sending things to the back of your mind, then directing your frontal lobe somewhere else. That's when all the cool stuff happens. That's why it's easier when you are just going to sleep. Your frontal lobe is resting first. Keep trying.

Unless of course Randall was the year of the snake somewhere in 1909 or something.

Can't be, Randall learned immortality from Linda!

Anyway, FishKitten do you do teleportation? Have you attempted it?

I've tried lots of things, including teleportation. I have one major problem that would sound nuts to anyone but you guys. I always seem to get stuck on electric wires and transformers. I'll meditate until I get my frontal and occipital lobes functioning seperately. I can finally feel myself begin to lift and fade. I can see the world flashing by me, heading for where I want to be or see. But I must not send my atomic / molecular stream high enough, or maybe I'm just not practiced enough, because as soon as I get too close to those high-power electric lines, or a bunch of transformers, or a power station, I get sucked in like electricty was a vaccuum and I'm a bit of fluff. I have to forcibly remind myself that I can't be harmed by that in my current state and after a bit of a struggle, plop, I zip back to the exact instant where it all began. That part is interesting, too, because sometimes I feel like the whole experience has taken hours, but I always find that no time has elapsed. I doubt if that helps, but there you go.

Wow FishKitten, you're amazing I completely understand. Have you moved from one location to another location in your house? I can be gullible, so please, don't kid around with me.

If one day I decide to attempt it, can you show me a few techniques? BTW, are you immortal? I think with the knowledge I've gained at youth I'm destined to stay and become one anyway. All I need is a friend or lover that will stay with me.

Hey StarLover. For the record, I would never purposely mislead anyone. That's a nasty Karmic trip I don't want to make. I haven't thought of trying to move from one room to the other in my house. Great idea. I'll have to wait until I'm there alone for a day and give it a shot. I have managed to move objects in my house. Not in that nifty Bewitched or I Dream of Jeannie way where stuff floats across the room to you. More like...hmmm, two examples.....I had been meditating for some time, then got up to return to my regular evening. I dedided I wanted a can of beans from the cabinet. As soon as I opened the cabinet door, the can I wanted shot out and landed in my hand. Nothing else fell out or seemed out of place. I wasn't trying to do that, I just wanted them and they came. One other time I had just stopped meditating when a friend came over looking for a walking stick he had left at my house the day before. I looked around to find it. The instant I saw it, it litterally jumped toward me and landed on the floor. My friend laughed and said something to the effect of "Please remind me never to ask you to help look for my glasses". Great fun.

As to immortal...well one never knows until one has lived forever and so far forever isn't over. I have been around quite a while. Funny thing happened a couple of years ago...I met some new people in a city where I spent some time. They were sweet, joyous people, all in their 20's. They never asked my age and I don't really tell, anyway, but they seemed to figure I was about that same as them. Then one day a couple of them met my son. He was older than them, which threw them into complete confusion. I just explained with "I'm young at heart and these days people can look however they want". I'm sure they thought I ment plastic surgery, but I would never consider that. People CAN look however they want. When they kept bugging me to say how old I am, I said 412 (just a made up number). They laughed and quit asking. I'm not sure I would want to live forever in this same body. Sometimes I look at how the world is going and think I should be too (going, that is) but I'm still having too much fun and I strongly expect something really cool is in the offing for our little slice of heaven fairly soon. Besides, there are still the greatgrandkids who'll need ponies and drum sets and powdered sugar donuts. Somebody has to take care of the important things, after all...(*me laughing*)

Shine on , Star! BTW: I'd be happy to help any way I can, but ADVICE can so easily become A VICE, if you get my Lexi. Your way may be different from mine, but I feel sure you'll find it if you just keep looking.

Wow, that really is great. Do you meditate every single day? Very strange, how does the eletric wires get in the way of your teleportation?

Meditation is like food and sleep for my spirit, so when you ask if I meditate every day, it makes me smile. Its kind of like asking if I eat and sleep every day. So yes, most days I do.

About the electric wires...well, I guess I must not be getting the right vibration yet. Or else I am and it is closely related to the vibration of electricity. That would sort of make sense, when you think about it, because electricity moves in alternating currents along a certain path at great speed. As fast as lightening is, it is only the light that shows where the electric current passed. Interesting. I'll have to think about that. But I suspect if one could vibrate to just the right frequency, other energies would not seem to interfere quite as much. To be perfectly honest, I haven't really tried teleportation or levitation or psychokinesis in quite a few years. I have sort of lost interest in seeing if I can make things happen all at once because I figure everything is already happening all at once. If you just imagine yourself doing something or being somewhere and you really will it, it will happen. The fun is in the journey, not the destination.

And on that note, I think I'll go outside and run through my sprinklers. If the electric vibration is close to certain vibrations we create with thought, I'm pretty sure the laughter vibration must be really close to one that angels make. Don't forget to check out Mars while you gaze at your stars. Its going backward, but it is oh so beautiful.

Very interesting thread, especially now the authorities are using "terrorism" to tighten up loopholes. It seems there are advantages to not being taken seriously. Perhaps a good way to explore these ideas might be in a game format, like M.U.D.
