Hey, I'm an Immortal soul does that count? Lol...

You know, I would guess, that once a person reaches a certain level of consciousness, for whatever reason, they no longer feel any need to participate on forums, or at least not in the normal sense. It wouldn't surprise me that one now and again popped in to drop a few words of wisdom to make everyone think, before disappearing again.

The difficulties in posting on forums, in my mind, is that there are different levels of spiritual evolvement, and it doesn't matter if a single Truth were to be uttered by an Immortal, people would still find fault and argue against it.
I read somewhere that if a person is not able to see for themselves certain things, nothing at all but themselves will be able to bring them out of the mist of thought.
I suppose it's the same as "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear." Until any student is able to be open to guidance, no teacher can teach them.

Also, I don't know if anyone here has ever been in such a state of pure peace and control that the everyday humdrum of mortal life ceased to completely interest them...but being in that state, you tend to look over the things that really are not important, but are constant on the minds of mortals, and are able to concentrate on the true and powerful things.
I've also read from a lady who has met Immortals, that one needs to let go of attachments of all kinds...in the words of great Yogis, it's called Maya...earth bound attachments. Any Immortal has surely overcome those things, and has followed the words of Jesus to "be in this world, but not of this world."
I personally consider this forum to be a form of maya in it's own sense. And I hope people don't send me bad vibes for saying this, but there does tend to be ego here, which is something else Immortals are said to let go of.
Like everything, when I'm not vibrating above my "normal" frequency, I will do things that are very earth bound, watch TV, surf the net, involve myself in idle gossip, yet when I am high in the conscious clouds, I feel no desire or need or attraction to any of those things and move away from them.
I'm probably not making direct sense, but what I'm trying to say is that, I would think an Immortal would be concentrating on other things, and if compelled to talk about the things we talk about here, it would be with someone who is open to that experience, who has sought their teacher and that teacher has arrived.
I could of course be wrong, I am always open to such a possibility...hehe.

I must add, my definition of an Immortal is someone who has reached 100 and has not aged a day since they started the journey.

Hm.
Maybe they died?

J/K.. omigosh, I can't give a serious answer today.

Other people have reminisced about the 'glory days' of LindaLand.
All these great spiritual based conversations..
Of course, I add to the sense of frivolity, but I know there are many levels.
They will come back.
Maybe with more knowlege to share?
More new ones will come.
With new knowledge and like sponges, they will learn with an eager reverence.
Either way, I will be here to greet them.
(with my own sarcasm laced spiritualism.)

Heya

I can't claim to know anything here, but I have a feeling that Immortals would be extremely Secretive about their identities. I would Love to meet one, but I think that may happen to us individually when we're ready,if, prob not here. I think they would be the type to plant seeds and let us spiral to them. Though I'd love to be wrong

I suppose youre right.

It was just that in reading some of the old threads, I felt like I missed these people even though I had never met them.

The only constant thing is change. Like it's own entity, LindaLand will constantly change too. Through time with an influx of certain people and a certain energy to it. Coming and going.....highs and lows.

I'll have to find the string with LindaLand's birthdate. And check out what is going on in it transit and progression wise. Interesting to watch.....

Hi TINK,

No one in particular really. Although Grasshopper, YIVY and many others seemed very knowledgable and held alot of interesting wisdom. And of course Randall.

I guess it just seemes like there was more action, discussion going on back then. More serious students. I'm sure LL was a smaller and tighter community back then though. People move on, I know. Just wishing things could be a little different. But I'm not looking for others to give me any answers. I prefer finding things out on my own. It's nice to learn from others as well though. But there is plenty of that going on now. I believe everything is as it should be. You know what I mean, I think.

Don't mind me, I'm going through a heavy Neptune transit.

I just don't have anything to say most of the time, but I visit almost everyday.

Hi 26Taurus I think I understand a little where your coming from. I read these strings for like 2 months before writing anything and I was blown away at how enlightened and close they sounded. We do have a bunch of new people here that are trying to get to know each other, so hopefully we will form a new knowflake family together. I know I feel a connection with some of you that is hard to find in the world, I feel sometimes like we speak the same language, it gives me goosebumps. Just think of this period as a new group of students coming in with the hearts and minds open learning from each others diff strengths and from more spiritually progressed minds. There will be a time when if we are genuinely interested in being an eternal student, we will reach that higher level together, making a new generation of masters. I know I have been spritual since I can remember and I know that is the one thing in my life that has been consistent, so I will become much more enlightened with every passing day. That is what we should look at, who has this motivation? who wants to know their Higher Selfs reach enlightenment? I think you'd be surprised how many would say the same. Thats what I've had to tell myself, these people wouldn't be here if they didn't have the itching I do. Lets help each other, grow and spiral together..as a family.

Keep presenting your deep info and others will catch on, including myself. 26 you have a lot to offer, I realized you would prob be among the older members, help us get there I'm a ready and willing student and teacher.

Monica

Seems as if with folks consciously on a spiritual path, there is a lot of coming and going. Everyone always on the move, not stopping too long in the same places, or with the same people.

Yeah thats true, I've certainly done my share of moving and changing friends, but I found at one point like I wondered a bit too far away from home..sometimes its nice to know who really cares about you and forgives for your mistakes before you make them, you know. But yea I get what your saying, we usually try to keep growing on our path and take the paths that pull us, which can lead us all in completely seperate places, yet in the same one in the end

melinesque, you make immortals sound like snobs. I doubt that imortality is an exclusive club where superiority reigns. This and enlightenment is available to all so i guess im saying that if you seek enlightment to be better than others.......well need i say more?

Hello thirteen,

Wouldn't it be better to ask first if that was my intention, than go full steam ahead and strike me off as being clueless as to what enlightenment is?

Your perspective isn't my concern. And I don't see how mine would provoke such a hostile reply from you. (Unless we have some past karmic issues).

No...I repeat, no I didn't intend for Immortals to sound like snobs. Though I do hold them in high esteem, and why not?

Now that I've replied, lets move on and create some good karma.

Merry Christmas!

I wish to add: On a more personal note thirteen, my spiritual journey is about returning to who I should be. For me, this means conquering my attachments, my addictions, my fears, controling my outer-self in all aspects and shattering false mindset.

I will admit it bothers me that my explanation of Immortals would make it sound as if I deem them "snobs". Knowing, they are nothing of the kind. But beings, I look up to highly and with respect. Yes, of course, everybody is rightfully entitled to enlightenment, Immortality, freedom. It's who we once were.
My earlier post, was about why it may be Immortals of 100 years old and up, may not communicate here. Perhaps, bluntly, they actually have more important things to do? They have souls to educate and cosmic miracles to spin?

thirteen I will gladly hear of your opinion my dear.

The only thing i wish to add is that my comments were intended to invoke some thought in anyone who cares to ponder this topic. Perhaps they were direct to a fault but I stand by my opinion. I wish no ill will toward anyone. It's a great topic. For me too.

Hey YIVY was a pretty groovy lexigrammer!
Why she not in LL anymore? Cos she sure is busy in another forum.

YIVY decided to leave LL awhile ago. I miss her. I think Juni still speaks to her now and again.

I miss Aphrodite and Oxychick and LMB too. Aphrodite still posts once in while and Oxy does once in a blue moon - *sigh* not nearly enough. I hear that Mighty Aphrodite and Oxy still read even though they don't post so much. They all seemed to walk out as I was walking in so I didn't get to speak with them half as much as I would have liked.
