Copperfield: Real Fountain Found?Magician David Copperfield told the Reuters news service that he has found the Fountain of Youth in the southern Bahamas, amid a cluster of four tiny islands he recently bought for $50 million. One of his islands in the Exuma chain, Musha Cay, is a private resort that rents for up to $300,000 a week. Copperfield is coy about his reasons for the Fountain of Youth claim, but the man best known for entertaining with grand deception insists his archipelago also contains the legendary waters that bestow perpetual youth. Seriously. "I've discovered a true phenomenon," Copperfield told Reuters in a telephone interview. "You can take dead leaves, they come in contact with the water, they become full of life again. ... Bugs or insects that are near death come in contact with the water, they'll fly away. It's an amazing thing, very, very exciting." Copperfield, who turns 50 next month, said he has hired biologists and geologists to examine its potential effect on humans, but he's not inviting visitors to swim in or drink from it just yet.

Sounds amazing! More then one way to achieve immortality! It would be interesting to know if there is any real truth to David's discovery! If so...how many fountain's of youth exist on this earth today, I wonder!IP: Logged |

The floor moved, so when the curtain was pulled down, they were looking in a different direction (so it appeared to have disappeared). ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." Hi, Johnny! How are you dear?Actually, i believe Mr. Copperfield has probably come into contact with some kind of energy vortex that lies in the vicinity. I dont feel comfortable sharing most of my thoughts or beliefs here anymore but, i thought most of us knew that that mysterious 'Fountain of Youth' is not located anywhere out there, in the material world. For most it is functioning only as a trickling stream...almost shut off, hiding out at the center of their own being. But what do i know? IP: Logged |

I think he watched the movie the Fountain too many times myself. The only fountain he found is the "Fountain of Fat Wallet" ... quote: One of his islands in the Exuma chain, Musha Cay, is a private resort that rents for up to $300,000 a week.
that is surely gonna keep him young he will be able to afford plastic surgery. IP: Logged |

It's hard to not be skeptical when a stage magician says he found something magical. Bugs and birds do indeed seem to come back to life when they begin to thaw from being in the deep freeze. But who know ... we'll have to wait and see. If this becomes a two hour tv event, it's likely a sham ... if it's not a tv event ... he may be more sincere . . . ------------------ "The reason why birds can fly and man cannot is simply that they have perfect faith; for to have faith is to have wings." ~JM Barrie IP: Logged |

You OK 26?You gotta love the way these things pan out. This article's pretty funny http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/UnNews:Sharon_In_Stable_Condition_After_Dip_In_Copperfield's_Fountain_of_Youth . Sure is a good way of advertising to say you're able to heal politicians etc. Dean. ps. hey Grasshopper, I was wondering if my lack of posts will somehow allow you to catch up, but I don't know how you appear to be replying to everyone but still stay so young? I think you are a master illusionist! IP: Logged |
