I do enjoy an honest compliment but hate phoney flatter. And if I go out with someone who continuously tells me how beautiful I am and not much else, it's the last date. I prefer someone who is going to stimulate my brain. I still blush with the honest compliments though.  How do I find out my Inner Companion? Love and light,

Hmmm...I really enjoyed the post about the Horse. I am almost sure that is what I am.
It sounds alot like me except the home part. I love the "idea" of traveling but I really REALLY love my home so I'm ok to travel in my books for the time being.I was born December of 54. Do you know if that makes me a fire horse? I'm also a Sag so I've got horse references everywhere. What determines your inner companion?? Time of birth? My husband is a dragon. Peg, you are a Wood Horse. Wood makes you less nervous than other Horses, less depressed, and also makes you more cooperative. You are more relaxed, and as you stated, you enjoy home base a lot more. Wood also makes Horse more gullible, so be careful that you are not taken advantage of. You get along well with Dragon so long as Dragon doesn't invade your privacy too much. Horses are generally too preoccupied with daily Life to give Dragons the attention they require.Inner Companions are determined as follows (deduct for Daylight Savings Time): 11 pm to 1 am--Rat
1 am to 3 am--Ox
3 am to 5 am--Tiger
5 am to 7 am--Rabbit
7 am to 9 am--Dragon
9 am to 11 am--Snake
11 am to 1 pm--Horse
1 pm to 3 pm--Goat
3 pm to 5 pm--Monkey
5 pm to 7 pm--Rooster
7 pm to 9 pm--Dog
9 pm to 11 pm--Pig (sometimes called Boar)

Hey, Randall. That would make my inner companion a SNAKE.... go figure  A WOOD DRAGON with a SNAKE inner companion...????? WELL!! What does the 'Wise Man on the Mountain' have to tell me about that combo  ------------------

The Inner Companion just changes who you are compatible with. The Dragon's enemies are the Ox and the Dog, but the Snake IC makes the Ox very compatible, although the Dog still needs a little work.------------------

Dani, I don't know about the element but your IC is either the Rabbit or Dragon. I can't remember if you were born daylight savings time or standard. Leave it to an Aquarius with Virgo Moon to remember your time of birth but not if daylight savings time was in effect!!!  I space some things and remember others well.  Well hey, the computer usually figures the daylight savings so I don't have to input it!! Didn't we say Mark was born at 3 something?? If so, he'd be a goat and his IC would be a tiger.

Last, Scroll up....Randall listed the IC based on time of birth. I have your birth data on my astrology program and looked it up for you. If you want to learn about the elements, go here....http://chinese.astrology.com/elements.html. You can put your birthday in at the bottom and it'll tell you what your element is and all about it.
