I used to watch Days of our Lives when I was younger.
And remember Melrose Place- that was like a soap opera! I was hooked. LOL

Hm...don't really watch soap operas...
but "Six Feet Under"'s kinda soap-opera-y in it's own way. On that, Nate prolly is my favorite - he's kinda screwed-up, but everyone is on that show...which makes it wonderfully realistic. IP: Logged |

I watch several or should I say I record several and watch later on at night.
I like Port Charles - Caleb is my favorite; he's a vampire.
All My Children - Aiden (kinda a goody two shoes, guys aren't usually like this)
One Life To Live - Todd Manning (just cause he is so bad)
General Hospital - Jax

Hey MindReader, glad to see someone else from Columbus, woo-hoo.
Alright Randall, always glad to see a MAN step up aand admit he likes them.I watch all the ABC soaps.
Caleb is my favorite on Port Charles. Used to like Rafe but he just gets on my nerves now, and so does Lucy. UGH. Starting to like Kevin more since he flipped his switch. AMC-REALLY can't stand Erica or Bianca. I like Kendall cause she can't stand them. I'm glad Maria came back but she needs to go on back with Edmund before he flips his switch. One Life To Live-I really like Natalie now and Christian is so fine. Somebody needs to get a broom a sweep that *itch Jen under a rug. Hey, but like mother like daughter. General Hospital- Hey I was with you until you said Jax. That punk has just lost me after what he did to Skye. Yeah, has done her dirt, but DA*N you don't just turn love on and off like he did. That little b'itch needs to go on and be a man and admit he wanted to get back with Brenda from jump off.
And I REALLY can't stand her. I got two words. WAA-WAA. Whiner she is. Anyway, my favorites on there are Carly and that beautiful Sonny.
As you can see I get really in depth with the characters. Maybe a little too in depth. I think its safe to say I'm addicted.

I love Days of Our Lives. Kirsten Storms as Belle is the best. I remeber her from all those Disney movies.

Woohoo!! ABC fans!! I record and watch Port Charles, One Life to Live and General Hospital, have for years!! I stopped watching All My Children right after Maria was "killed off". Since she came back, I just haven't had the time to watch. Caleb is my favorite, but Livvy I can't tolerate most of the time. I want Blair and Todd back together!! I get a real kick out of Roxie. I love Sonny and Carly together and since Jax did what he did to Skye, well, I just can't stand him. And Luke? Well, I sort of had a crush on him for years. Lila has always been one of my fave's. when i used to be able to watch them, it was all CBS..although at one time I did watch All My Children...back when Kelly Ripa was finding out that Adam Stewart was her daddy...i watched Search for Tomorrow too...Lisa Loving was on that show as Wendy... and YEARS ago...The Edge of Night.. Y & R favorites....Victor and Nikki Newman.....and Jill is sizzlin' right now... As for AMC, Edmund is gonna lose Maria by the way he's acting. On GH, besides Jax I also like AJ. He deserves to be happy and I still want him with Courtney. Everytime AJ gets a girl or fall in love, Jason is right there to steal her from him.IP: Logged |

Oh my God MindReader how can you say that? A.J. is the biggest dirtball. After he stalked Courtney, you think she should get back with him? He is above pathetic. Donna, you're on point with Sonny and Carly. Carly is my girl, especially when she got that bat on Tagliatti. And my favorite Sonny scene here recently was when he beat the crap outta that little weasel Ned. He really was twitchy in that scene. It looked so real.------------------

never could get into Port charles...but I love AMC...OLTL and GH... been watching all 3 since I was a kid. I don't care if Todd is bad..I think he is one fine looking dude...same thing with the new all. Can't stand Jen, wish they would bring Will back, jessica gets on my nerves sometimes. General Hospital....I love love love Sonny and think the guy who plays Lucky is a hottie..I like CArly...wasn't fond of her when she was played by the other actress. I like the Courtney/Jason/AJ story...and i can't wait tosee who killed Alcazar and also to see what Carly is going to do with the bacement of the Diner. IP: Logged |

Hey Tash it's not that I agree with what AJ did but that the writers don't seem to let him be happy.
As for who killed Alcazar, I believe Ric did and have thought for awhile. I just got through watching my tapes of the soaps and now I think I've been right. If you remember awhile back when Ric told Carly that he hasn't seen his family for a long time---I think that Alcazar killed his family, imprisoned Ric, then released him to kill Sonny. Only Ric killed Alcazar instead. Payback's a **tch! I can't wait to see if I'm right or how close I actually got.IP: Logged |

Yeah, your probably right. I guess they figure he isn't that interesting unless he's bad. But at the same time, if they gave him enough of a brain to stop blaming every single problem in his life on his brother, he probably could be a happier person. Suck it up and acknowledge the fact that you have blame in that game. Once they do that, then he can move on. As far as Ric goes, I'm not too sure. I think he might have been there but I don't think he did it. I mean how do you get the blame off of the one lot and put it on Ric, and still keep his character on the show. Scotty the nut obviously wants to bring somebody down as long as he can connect them to Sonny.------------------

I think Ric did it, too!!Did you notice that Zander was the son who shot his brother accidently when Cameron was telling Alexis about his past? I always wondered if Zander was related to Frank Smith, but now I guess not. AJ is nothing but a weasel, but I too, wish him happiness, just not with Courtney.  I loved it when Carly got the bat!! I think she and Sonny have a marriage that works and I hope the writers keep it that way. It is never boring, even if it works, IMHO. Bernadette, I loved Edge of Night!!! I watched it for a long time. I remember one New Year's Eve, it was a Friday, and the ending scene was Larkin Malloy shot in the back leaning on his desk. Well, it actually ruined my celebration that night, seriously, I was so upset they left us hanging like that, that I brooded the whole weekend. Yep, I am a serious soap addict. Another ABC fan all the way...I met Josh DuHamel when I was er....a tad tipsy at the time....I've been watching GH since I was 7 or 8...and I love OLTL and AMC (sometimes)------------------

I have met Steve Burton and John J York.
Got their autographs on an 8X10 and more importantly, a hug&kiss from both.As soon as Cameron said he was from Fla. I had a feeling he was Zander's dad but didn't say it out loud cause didn't want to be wrong. When Zander sees him, he may remember his dad but I think he has blocked out the whole accident of shooting his brother...who can blame him. Just for the record, I have been watching GH since I was about 6 or 7. My all time favorite is Frisco. I still have all 4 of his albums. Been alot of musicians to come and go from GH---John Stamos, Rick Springfield, Jack Wagner, Ricky Martin. IP: Logged |

Yes, I loved the days of Frisco/Robert/Anna/Sean/Tiffany/Faison (hey, did you know that Anders Hove who played Faison was from Greenland?) I can't wait for the Zander/Cameron moment! Zander is apparently short for "Alexander" and supposedly his brother died in an accident and Cameron blames Zander for it. Interesting. Hope I didn't divulge more than you wanted to know. Tash-
I completely agree with you! I can't stand whiny, kvetchy, "everyone loves me/ I'm too fraile to lift a finger for anything myself" Brenda. Grrrr....she and Jax should just leave the show. Robin Christopher is such a good actress, it's a shame she had to deal with that crap. haha And I really think Faith Roscoe did it. Ric was planning to do it, but didn't get there in time. That man is absolutely gorgeous. I had to add that. I also saw the guy who played Luna's brother outside ABC studios and the first Christian Vega (twice!) and he stared at me  although this Christian Vega is such a hottie...I saw John Stamos and his wife walking down 5th Ave. once. My ALL-TIME fvorite character of all three soaps is Todd Manning from OLTL. Roger Howarth is amazing. ------------------
