I am saying 'yeppers' a heck of a lot lately... I catch myself doing it all the time.. I mean, it's always been a part of the vernacular, even though it is quite.. um.. straight. But recently, it just pops out.

I swear too much, I am trying to stop myself.
"I hear you" was my phrase of choice a few weeks ago, but it annoyed even me.

I am calling people "dolly" a lot.
Wow, I'm annoying!

I too, am a big fan of the use of that 'F' one... also say 'craptastic' a lot... The former gets the most airtime though... by far

I say "extra" in front of things I want to emphasize. This is something that I've only heard me and best friend from DC say, so don't take it k.

example: he's "extra" hot!
or that test was eextra hard!

or we just say "extra lame" and we know what the other is referring to.

And I say "Ay" all the time like a Latino or Brazilian would.

"Caio" to say bye.

I like to call people I'm close to "monkey" or "taco"..I call my mom that and my "ex" boyfriend...in a cute way.

Yup-a-Roo, Buck-a-Roo!! (much more fun than just saying "Yes" )

And "Youuuu betcha!" (also more fun than "yes")

"That's INSANE!" (have to be careful who I say this one around. It's not in good taste to use it around someone with mental problems lol)

"Easy there, Cowboy" - said with a lame attempt at a John Wayne impersonation.

I'm sure there's millions more - but those popped into my head off the bat.

Fun thread!

"What the?" also ... "what the hell?"
"It's/that's crazy" (sometimes "just" b4 crazy)
"oh yeah!"
"alrighty"
"i/we can DO that" ... seems lately i've been asked to do lots of favors for people. (which i enojy doing)

AND unfortunatly the big fat F word is intertwined within my vocabulary. Although lately, some friends of ours have been hanging out and they have 2 younger children. The oldest is 8 and every once in a while i slip up in front of her ... well, she's told me a new word to use in place of the F word when she's around ( she's so cute) .... and it is FIRETRUCK .... so its become part of my vocab. (i asked her what i'm supposed to call a firetruck when i see one... she said "whatever you want, but you can't use the f word" - lmao)

"Indeed?" (Meaning: Really?)

"Indeed." (Meaning: I don't believe you.)

"Indeed." (Meaning: I agree.)

It's all in the inflection. And people don't get it when it means "I don't believe you." -- they think I'm agreeing with them -- which amuses me.

Then there's:

"Brain!"

-- which I say when I'm drawing a blank. It's like calling for a lost pet. 'Cause at that moment, my Brain obviously just ain't with me.

Also: "No worries." (with a smile) Yes, I picked it up from the Aussies! Good people.

And then there's my all-time favorite:

"I love you."

Boy, am I glad to have someone to say it to!

This is a fun thread! WTG, jjjax!
