Is this odd?

When I get really tired, like over tired, I get a severe case of the giggles! It's like I'm wasted or something.

Actually, I get this way when I'm stressed out too. Like to the point of wanting to snap. Someone just has to say or do the smallest thing, and if I find it funny, I'm gone. I can't seem stop! Tears rolling down my cheeks, stomache hurting kind of giggling. No wonder people think I have a screw loose sometimes.

I so get that.
I've actually been _really, really_ giggly lately. I *couldn't stop* laughing over something the other day at work; as was sitting at a desk nearly falling from my chair. Stuff like that's been happening pretty consistently for the past couple weeks...maybe it's all the goofiness going on w/ Mars right now.

*shrugs*

I'm odd because I CAN NOT stand bad table manners! Or loud chewing....*shiver* I'm odd because I can be laughing and screaming in the same minute.

No, wait, that's me being a Gemini... lol

The oddest thing I do is to sniff every single food thing that I eat (even the 2nd cup of coffee from a pot) or use (in cooking/baking). My hubby looks at me as if to say, maybe you should shop more often if you need to sniff everything!

Nackie, I hear you!! Loud chewing (or sloshing, sucking teeth and especially LIP SMACKING) drives me up the wall. It's like scratching nails on a chalkboard to me. And my coworker does it all day. *shudders*

(Mars in Aries!)

Nackie: You smell everything you eat too?! My Gem does that! Doesn't even have to be edible... he'll just pick something up and smell it !

I'll catch him doing it and reply with ... is everything alright with it? Is it safe to eat?

Which reminds me, I'm afraid I'm a snarfer sometimes -- occasionally when abruptly amused, I come out with a sound that's a cross between a snort and a larf, hence "snarf".

I wish I didn't do it!

What a nutter! I read a news story about 4 years ago, about a guy who died in a hotel room in rural Saskatchewan, and the cause of death was asphixiation caused by something lodged in his throat, and you'll NEVER guess what was lodged in his throat.

(this is really sick and twisted)

His own flesh from his feet! He would peel the skin off his feet and eat it, and I guess a wad of it got lodged in his trachea! How insane is that??? Apparently this is a recognized psychological disorder that has some really long 19 syllable name. It's a crazy mixed up wacky world. How bizzaar, how bizzaar.

I've eaten some pretty wierd things in my life, but *foot skin* and *toenails* ??

Lol, I'm not that desperate yet!

1scorp: maybe its a gemini thing lol...I sniff everything too. I HAVE to sniff the dishcloth before I do it, and I agree with you Juni...sometimes you REALLY wish you didn't do it! lol especially in this heat, it would just be safer to change the cloth lol

Oh Nackie-talking to oneself is such an easy thing to do at work! How do you deal?? I've often encountered people who read aloud on the subway! That combined with people twice the size of itty bitty space next to me who decide to sit down anyway, and who apparently forgot Mr. Deodorant that morning, the people who think it;s fun to pop their gum, and the loud walkman players can really upset my morning.

But yes, come 2-3:00 and my coworker is at it with the largest tray of food you'll ever see at lunch...sucking and smacking away at her teeth and lips. bleh. I just turn the radio up at work.

Ahhh poor Oxy! I know how you feel! I take the train and subway after work and it is just *awful!* I try to glare at everyone so they stay away with their smelly bodies and big bottoms lol but I swear that that just encourages some!

It would really drive me nuts to have someone eatling loudly near me at work! Does upping the volume on the radio work? It wouldn't for me, I hear that SO intensly lol...

Take care of you,
Nackie

Nackie,

No, I'm lying to myself. Upping the volume doesn't work. I can still hear it. Ahhh....she's doing it right now-eating some yucky fatty pastry thing (the smells of certain foods have been making me slightly nauseous lately). But she's so nice I can't hold it against her. I do give her the evil eye though. lol I'm ultra-sensitive to bad eating habits too. I can hear them a mile away. lol

Good luck with your coworker today Nackie!

Nackie! No, I am most assuredly NOT. There are no Oxy Jr's on the way. *gulps* Talk about feeling flustered. I think it's just that sitting fairly close to people, the smell of their food can come off pretty strong.

matty-I'm a 3 too.
