K, I haven't read all of these yet, as it is a long thread, and I am sleepy. But, I thought it was important, for research purposes to say....I Too, Sneeze when in bright sunlight!!!!! And I am, indeed a water sign. i always have, and my friends think it is wierd. YAY KINSHIP!!! This makes me smile.I have so many quirky habits, and it would take me forever to post them all. I also like cleaning my ears at least daily, usually a few times a day. I like sniffing things, but at the same time, I am sensitive to bad smells. There is nothing, though, that I love more than to smell someone. When my daughter is fresh from her bath, I could live in the scent of her hair. When my son comes in from playing outdoors on a spring day, I just want to smell him. Same goes for men....clean warm skin, or even slightly sweaty (Not gross sweat, sexy sweat!)MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.........

Hey guys y'all crack me up! I have a few odd things about me.

One is that I loooove lemons and limes, I actually crave them, first I cut them in half and sprinkle salt on them and suck the juice out. Then I peel out the sour flesh and put more salt on it, sooo good makes my mouth water, and makes other people look at me like I'm crazy!

I saw someone wrote the cosby show, I love that too, and golden girls I go nuts over.

LOL, I love this topic! Well, I am odd/weird cause I love eating snow (I mean like right after it hits the ground before its contaminated) since I adore the texture...hmmm...maybe thats why I love crunching on the soda-machine-generated ice cubes...
Also, I like the texture of sand, and am seriously considering having a room in my house that warms up like a sauna, and filling the floor with nice clean sand (replaced every few months) so I could lay in there in a bathing suit (or less ) reading books or just enjoying the warm sand.
Sounds crazy, right?
You can certainly tell I'm an Earth sign by my obsession with things that affect my physical senses...

lol, this thread was named for me, lol.

I have WAY too many odd or unique things about me to mention here, but the most important or interesting one might just be my very strong interest and belief in the powers of alternative therapies, as well as my own understanding about the abilities of psychic/clairvoyant spiritual healers too.

I'm speaking to my oddities in terms of what the general public out there would think, and not necessarily anybody in here, because I know that sometimes things like astrology and alternative/psychic phenomena can go hand and hand with a lot of people. As a matter of fact, I think there are actually whole Forums on this board dedicated and devoted to the discussion of just those such things, but I haven't really had the time or opportunity to drop in on those places that are here yet.

But yes, I have noticed that most other people I know or hear about still don't seem to feel the way that I do about illness. I believe that it is a direct result of imbalances that are created in our chakras of energy and the energetic bodies which swirl around us and inside of us. But, from what I've noticed, a lot of society seems not to take these possibilities into account in a very serious way.

I also just really believe that there are a LOT more instances of relations between "the spirit world" and "the material world" than most people want to recognize or acknowledge at this point in time too, and that all of this inter-relation between the "two places" which I happen to believe is going on all the time is really NOT so offbeat, or so weird, or so scary to understand at all. So that understanding which I might have about all of it does also seem to place me in the minority of people that I know in my daily life, and whom I read about online too.

Lioneye,
lol, I know my interests are not odd here in LL, and that's why I LOVE that I've found this place right now. There are a LOT of such intelligent and open-minded people on this board, so I love coming here whenever I have the chance to do so.

I am odd because I freak out if my skin touches bare mattress. The bed has to be securly covered entirely with sheets and or blankets or I can't sleep.

I talk to my cat in German.
I don't feel too weird about that b/c Jason does that with his fam's dog, too -
that lil' quirk was another one of the freaky things that we found out we had in common early on when we met.

Does he talk German to his dog? That's just a bizzare coincidence, Prox! I don't mean like it's such a bizarre thing to do, just that the fact that you both do it...is really...odd.

Yup, and I have other witnesses.

I mean, I've always done so with my cat, Blitz (which is weird but kinda makes sense given the name...so given b/c she's black w/ a white lightening stripe down her belly & b/c she was a hyper kitten), but he does so - and apparently always has - to his family's English Springer Spaniel, Katie.

But *that's* the kind of stuff I'm talking about when I say that we have odd little things in common.

LOL..very funny all those stories

I have problem keeping my tongue in check..anytime something irritates me in someone, the first reaction is to speak it out. I would try VERY hard to hold up my tongue and to do not pay attention to what little things irritates me about someone...but when the person comes and start talking to me- instead to keep the conversation, I`d spill the beans, right in their blinking eyes. Thats very unconsiderate of me ..I am trying to work it out

Oxychick------- Thank you for the warm wishes, I very much appreciate them... actually, right now I feel like a mixture between a very pale female gargoyle, and someone who has had gravel poured down her throat. I've surpassed that throaty sexy low voice, and meandered into 80-year-old-smokes-two-packs-a-day-and-hacks-out-a-lung-on-the-half-hour-like-clockwork- territory. Something like that, anyway. Thank you though, I will hopefully feel better soon.

My moon is in Capricorn (reserved and unemotional)...So the thing that makes me odd is that I schedule at least one day out of each month JUST TO CRY!!!!

No seriously...I do!!! I will cry myself to sleep that night over various things that I should have expressed some sort of emotion about previously that month...And I always sleep very well that night and wake up emotionally (well, unemotionally) available the next day.

Go Figure!!!

tanea, that's actually a very efficient way to cope with emotional repression. (which we all have, to some degree)

Tell me, do those days seem to correspond with your menstral cycle at all?

Nahhhh Lioneye 68, I really can't say that it does. On those days I think I tend to become even more tougher because of my body's natural inclination to be more emotional.

I must admit though...it's VERY theraputic to say the least!!!

A puddle iced over.

Ever seen one of these before?

Whenever I walk by a small area of thin ice I like to crack them by stepping on them.
