I was wondering if any newbies wanted to share how they came up with their usernames. Incidentally the original thread is at: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/002183.html there is where you'll find explanations of other usernames but I started a new one because that one was kind of long.

I enjoyed reading the other one...... funny, because I , too, pronounced Proxieme, Proxy-ehm. Wierd! Either way, it works. I chose Pixie, because I like pixies, nymphs, angels, faeries, whatever you want to call them, the notion intrigues me. I have a tattoo that I designed on my lower back, that I got for my birthday last year. A Pixie, naked, crouched with her naughty bits covered, hair wild and flowing, tattered wings. I never get to see it, but I love it all the same. Pixel- it seemed appropriate as it is a computer image term. I put them together and here I am. All the pixelated flying naked and bared pixie being me that I am.

I know I've said before, not on the thread referenced but somewhere else. But I'll say again My spanish name is Danita and growing up my family always used to call me Danita Fajita since it rhymes and I'm half Mexican. And it's 3 because I kept forgetting my password, so first it was theFajita then theFajita2 now theFajita3. I think I'll stop here because I do quite like 3 as a number.

to all!!

That is enchanting and clever pixelpixie.
Fajita-I was wondering what was going on with that. Everytime I saw a different version of your name I thought that maybe that was always the name but I didn't ask because I didn't want to seem out of it even though I thought I was. . But I'll tell you something else: everytime I saw fajita-something it did seem as though your presence was getting stronger and bigger (the numbers... or is it? ).
CancerianMoon- I did think that your moon was in Cancer and that you felt a stronger connection to your moon sign than your sun sign so you decided to go with that.
Cause I sometimes feel a stronger connection to my moon sign (Scorp) so that it why I inferred that.

I got the nickname Nackie in highschool cause I did just about everything there was to do (straight A's, swim team, student council, theater, choir, swim teacher and figure skating) and due to all that activity I was always tired--went to bed between 12 and 1 am and was up at 5:15 for practice. When my friends would ask how I was, I would say "god, I'm so knackered!" So they started calling me Nackie from Knackered. Not too interesting, I know, but try and keep a gem (with a gem mercury!) from giving her two cents lol

There have been many times since I have joined this board that I have considered changing my name, because it seems so cold printed out..heres where its from..

There is a fantasy novel series called The Sword of Truth books, by Terry Goodkind. Its a world of wizards and magic.. and the wizards created women called the Confessors. Their power is the ultimate expression of Love...if she touches you, you are completely devoted to her. She can tell you to die, and your heart will stop. A person touched will die to protect the confessor.

Sounds cruel, I know. Confessors are the ultimate authority in the Midlands, above even kings and queens. They oversee the rights of all peoples and protect everyone, seeking justice. Their main purpose is to take the confessions of criminals, because everyone knew that the accused would tell the truth-they had no choice, once touched by a confessor. But, it destroyed them...they were never the same person.

The main female character in the novels is Khalan, the Mother Confessor-she was the strongest, and the last one after all the others were killed.
Confessors can never marry for love, because of the nature of the power.

I know now, after joining the astrology course, why the character so appealed to me.

Virgo Sun...Scorp Asc..Moon in Libra, and Venus..lots of other stuff too

And.. she is a cool chick. I know this sounds like and advertisement for the book..hahahha..they are really good tho!
The series got me through a 10 day enforced vacation due to a horrible wisdom teeth extraction.
So thats my story..all details included..
would you expect anything less from a Virgo?

Mine is really simple. Fish because I'm Pisces Sun, Mercury, and Venus. Kitten because I'm Leo Rising, Moon, and Uranus.

I'm wondering about juniperb too, Silverbells. It always makes me think superb juniper.

my username, is a product of self identification and soul searching.

ok, not really, but it sounded good. Actually, I "borrowed" the name from a book written by one of my favorite authors. It is both the title of the book and one of the characters, I use it because when I read the book, I felt I could really identify with how the character who's nickname it is was feeling. And things I have discovered since, numerological and whatnot have inspired me to keep it, for now.

Hi everyone. I am new to Lindland. I decided to go with my name for my username as it is nice and personal. Lucky it was not already taken which seems to be the case everywhere else I go.
