All day I've been raking up the insane amount of leaves that the Magnolia in our front yard drops. I probably had about 1/4 left to do when the work crew that's next door to cut down some branches said, "Ma'am - would you like us to get those leaves fer you?" "Well...sure!"They took care of them in about 5 minutes, even driving up their bulldozer to load the leaves on. IP: Logged |

Eh, I'm bordering on disproportionate at the moment (5'9'', about 140 lbs after the birth, and a DDD cup). I already had a rawkin' bust when it was 1 1/2 sizes smaller.IP: Logged |

That's what Miracle Bras are for! They don't have to look like our babies sucked the life out of them. Gotta get a good bra... and make sure it fits right.IP: Logged |

Having seen pictures pre- bebe, as well as post- bebe... I don't think our loverly Prox is going to ever have issues with breasts..... oh yeah... gravity.. um, get a great fitting bra.. I agree with that. After breastfeeding two kids for an extended period of time, losing them, gaining them, losing them and then gaining them again, I have to say... I ain't too shabby in the gravity department. LUCKY!!! Knocks on her head... I wear a sports bra at night too. Or a 'shelf' bra.Good stuff on submitting another fantabulous day thread!!!!! The babe is looking more beautiful every day! But which of her parents does she resemble more? Today is Fantabulous Because... it's a rare weekend off for me, the cats let me sleep till 7 a.m., I did some cleaning, ate pizza for breakfast, John Coltrane is on the stereo with his Love Supreme, there's a cat between my arms as I write this, the 2nd draft of my book is almost done...and maybe, just maybe, I have a bit of a windfall coming my way, if the name I chose for a new food product is the one that's chosen. It made the final two. Cool. Life is good. IP: Logged |

Proxieme, Sounds like a little "Southern Hospitality" SOOOOO great when a few hunks help out! You just keep holding that baby everytime the landscapers come by and you may have your yard groomed by fall!Trillian, I'd be curious to know what the product and name are. Are you in advertising? Cute discussion about boob size, I didn't have any until I became pregnant. Yep, from no bra to wopping B cup!!!! Now 12 years later they are growing inward. HaHa. IP: Logged |

Good morning lovely Peoples! My nephew graduated with honors, and scholorships, and gave a speech that was both funny and sweet. I'm so proud. Philbird, I'm sorry but at this time I can't say what the product or its potential names are. But I do think it has huge potential. I work in the media/entertainment industry. My birthfather owns a company that markets specific products. He used to work for some of the big companies, but many years ago ventured out on his own and has done quite well. Pixie, how was your anniversary?? I hope you and your husband had a FANTABULOUS weekend filled with love. Jupiter is still in my first house, it will be in the 2nd by the middle of August...so...I'm hopeful and optimistic for both my book and the product! 'Course, that's what Jupiter in the 1st does, makes you optimistic, right? But I would imagine if you use the transit well, the optimism will stay and be a part of you. How's the babe, prox? And how is prox? IP: Logged |

*scrolls back up*Thank you, LibraSparkle trillian - That sounds like a wonderful weekend (first post) and like you have every reason to be beaming about your nephew. pixel - Yeeeaaah! How was that anniversary weekend? Phil - I'd pay money to have your chest. prox <--slightly jealous of her Mom's barely Bs. Back to tril - Prox is doing great, as is Meghasaurus (so called because of the face that she makes when you "test the waters" to see if she's really, truly hungry...and because both Jase and I had a fascination with paleontology when we were younger) even if the latter's kicking the former in the boobs. TWAFD for me b/c I took Meg for a walk up to the Library. A good deal later, we left the building. When we did so, I looked left to see great, dark clouds approaching accompanied by thunder. I started walking, saying, "Well, hopefully I can make it to the PX before it really starts to pour." A very nice lady then drove up and offered us a ride home in her van. We were illegal (no carseat), but we weren't struck by lightening, either. IP: Logged |

TWAFD b/c the pics that my Mom took when whe was down here came in the mail, this included among them: I was holding an asleep and newborn Meghan. Jase sat down beside us right after getting home from training, leaned on me, and then knocked out, too. I then put my head on his and closed my eyes - shortly after which my Mom caught us with her disposable camera. IP: Logged |

Oh. Heehee.Update: Jason was set-back into another flight class b/c of some extra hours he had to get. Once in that class, he got three "pink slips" (failing flights) in a row - after over a week of all "B" rides and 3 different IPs (Instructor Pilots). So. That was not this Tuesday but the last. He's now up for elimination from the flight program. The Progress Ride check pilot that evaluated him deemed him capable of continuing the flight program, but that holds no weight except as an advisory. This Monday he saw the Battalion CO (Company Commander - a Lt. Col.) and was shot down. Today at 1500 hours he went/is up in front of the Brigade CO (a full-bird Colonel). This guy's word'll determine if he stays in the flight program or not, the repercussions of termination being possible loss of rank, discharge from the Army, or definite reassignment of MOS (job/career track). Soo...it's 1644 (4:44 PM) CST and I've not yet heard anything. Ack. IP: Logged |

He was recommended for termination. He can appeal to the base commander if he wants, but the Gen. would probably stand by the Col.IP: Logged |

I'm so sorry Prox. Tell him it's for the best. I know it doesn't seem that way right now, but everything happens for a reason. Maybe this is so he will have a long and happy life with his darling wife and beautiful kids. (There will be more, you know.) I got the feeling he was stressed. Now I know why. As long as he knows HIS value is not in the least affected by what job he does or does not do. Just ask Meg.IP: Logged |

noreenz - Eh, whatchagonnado, y'know?FK - Naw, I really do believe that it's for the best, and he's coming around to that, too. I think that he's still going to appeal to the Post Deputy General, but that may be kinda automatic given that his "big three" are all fixed. As long as he knows HIS value is not in the least affected by what job he does or does not do. And, yep, I know - he's had bouts about this, and each time I've said something to the effect of, "I love you for you, not what you do." Barring all else, he's still got Meg and me to beam whenever we see him. On the job front: Our next door neighbor's a Counter-Intel Warrant Officer & he's really helping Jase out. Tomorrow he'll help Jase write-up a resume for a bid at an Intel or CID Warrant slot. If that doesn't pan-out, hey, there's always VA. IP: Logged |

You've got such a level head. Ego shots are hard to take, especially for a young Lockinvar, but you'll help him work through it. Good for you.On a lighter note...Counter Intelligence. To me that always sounded like a group that was against intelligence (possibly in any form). If that were true and they had my phone number....ah well, that's a different path for those of us who are firmly dedicated to the silly things in life. Actually, all puns aside, it could be a cool thing for Jase. I'm sure he has tons of options when he thinks about it. IP: Logged |

Oh, yeah - even given that he wants to stay in the Army, there are a tonne and a half options for him. On the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) he got a GT (total, sum-up score) of 125. The max is 130. When I took it on a whim back in my junior year of HS, I got something like a 117 and qualified for consideration for every non-combat MOS in the Army (non-com b/c I'm a girl). He's well within the safe zone as far as that goes, and he has several established guys rooting for him. Heck, even one of the guys who got him dismissed says that it's a shame that they had to do it, that they really like him and'll help him find something else. re: Counter-Intel: No, actually I think that your definition is on the money.TWAFD b/c: Meg's started to think that peek-a-boo's a hoot, she's graduated to a real baby squeal-laugh, and it can't be more than 80 degrees outside with a lovely, dulcet wind (an extreme anomaly for Alabama in August).
