I don't know what's up with me, but for the last 3 months, I haven't stopped eating!! I get really hungry - quicker than usual, eat , an hour later I'm hungry again.. I just had a huge chinese meal for dinner, 30mins later I wanted a snack so had a small chocolate.. 2 hours later I'm thinking about snackin again?! Even when I'm not hungry I think I am, and 'have' to eat something or I get fidgety.. I've put on about a stone!! Tried drinking heaps of water & fruit - that won't do it.. anyone else got this.. I'm definitly not preggers.. it's driving me nuts! IP: Logged |

Yeah - MSG the bone softener! Had nothing in so got a quick takeaway.. trying to windle off meat. Mainly chicken & fish now. When the Cappy's back from NYC I'll be on the brown rice & fish again thankfully - it's the only time I get to eat properly nowadays. Thanks Danielle, just a bit disturbing, this sudden 'hollow legs' thing I've got IP: Logged |

Have you been checked for diabetes? I have insulin resistance, which will turn to diabetes within a few years. I take insulin 3 times a day in pill form already. Before I got help I gained over 100lbs. and could not get full. I wanted lots of carbs and sugar. It's just a thought. I don't mean to scare you, Sheaa. Love, Irish IP: Logged |

Thanks for the advice Irish. It had been on my mind, so did have a diabetes check, but my blood's fine apparently. I went to the hospital recently with a sharp ab pain which they thought may be my appendix, it wasn't. Had an internal scan and everything seemed to be in order too. There seemed to be no explaination. I was concerned since I had - and still get sudden fatigue too.I will ask for an insulin resistance check - or PCOD? As you mentioned before. Thanks again guys, Sheaa IP: Logged |

Sheaa, Have there been drastic changes in your environment? Work? Love life? More stress? Maybe your eating is connected to something emotional, or it could just be out of boredom. IP: Logged |

Try adding a bit of exercise to your schedule. I find that 45 minutes of running keeps me in shape and contrary to what people say, moderate exercise leaves you feeling less hungry. You also build more muscle. Give it a shot.IP: Logged |

Hey girl! I had an appetite thread here; http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/000531.html My problem is after dinner. The willpower flies out the window. How do you know if it's a boy belly or a girl belly? I think I'm having twins! IP: Logged |

Hi Sheea,You wrote that you've been working out most of the time. We don't know what type of exercises you are doing, but can safely assume you are burning more calories as the body needs additional fuel to repair stretched muscles. Eating nutrient dense food will help out with the calorie factor. Try drinking fluids with simple sugars before working out to prevent dehydration. Gatorade or Vitamin Water are popular here in the U.S. It doesn't hurt to go to the doctor for a professional yearly check up as well. Good Luck. Aphrodite IP: Logged |

That's cool aqua! Thank you for your responses everyone. The annoying thing is that I compiled a lengthy reply yesterday and lost it through an 'Internal Server Error' message. Neptune Lady, I do need to find more time to exercise. I currently work 08:00-18:00 & working in media/music around the other times, so when I do have time I'm pooped! Pixie - I'd love to look into my chart, you're probably right hun. I just haven't had the chance to go on astro.com this week yet - to be honest I'm not too proficient in chart reading as yet! Ooo .. I didn't see the other food thread Nephthys! Good feedback on that too.. Your prob is after dinner?? My prob is before dinner - the food just flies into my belly Oh and it's a boy belly f'sure! Philly..LS - nnaw! No 9 month loaf suprises for me! It would be a miracle to have a baby made outa food though You're right Aphrodite Nutrients is what I need more of. Or at least balanced meals without much preparation time & cost. Not easy when you're on the go, eh? I love fresh cooking, and will have a bit more time for it soon - in fact when the Cappy's back & I spend time with him, it'll be brown rice & fish again since it's basically all he has.. very fresh food conscious that one, which is good. Attempting to drink 2 litres of water at the moment & have taken vitamin B & Evening Primrose Oil already! Devising possible recipes in my head for optimum nutrient / energy value for the least cost.. hmmm.. Declaring the battle with appetite has eased it somehow, so thanks again ------------------ "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." Jimi Hendrix (1942-1970)
