Ohmigosh!That was when I was doing a show on public access TV in Grand Rapids, Michigan, called THE FUN AND FANTASY FEST... A reporter from the Grand Rapids Press came to my home to do an interview with me and took the picture for the paper....was in my "Mother Goose" duds!.....(I was the hostess of the MG show and interviewed such personalities as Little Miss Muffett, Little Bo Peep, Little Boy Blue, and also fairy tale guests....Cindy Rella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Prince Charming.....etc...) Sleeping Beauty was distressed because after sleeping for 100 years, her clothes were all outdated....Little Miss Muffett and Little BoPeep were starting a dance act, because they couldn't make ends meet just appearing in those silly stories.....Prince Charming was on the run because he had married Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White without divorcing any of them, and they found out............goofy stuff like that....but we sure had a lot of fun..... Didn't mean to get carried away....but sheese...you asked.... Love,

That is just so cute!!!How awesome. My father-in-law is in Park Rapids (not too close to GR, but not too far either.) He's also got family in Hibbing and Chisholm. They've got a road named after their family in Chisholm... but no one from the family lives on the road anymore. hehe. IP: Logged |

Sheaa....I think I have them all....I wrote and directed 32 half hour shows called THE FUN AND FANTASY FEST...they are all on video tape (sheese about 20 years ago) They aired three times a week for about three years on the local cable show...so we had a little "following." Libra...Pixie...Aqua...Sheaa...thanks.... The show wasn't really professional or anything like that....people from the city who were so inclined could put their own shows on the air after taking classes which included learning camera and direction in their small studio...and then was quite limited in their ability to be creative as you were allowed access to the equipment only two weekends a month....Ours was trying for comedy and I recruited friends and family to help me with it.... Good memories.... Love,

Aqua, Pixie, 26, Proxieme, Libra Sparkle, Jackie, Sheaa........  As juniper told you, I asked her to come to the site for me as I was unable to get online the day I came home from my surgery (the day after the "election.") I not only could not get online, I experienced more pain with the second eye than with the first, so it was not a great day for me, altogether. *sigh* Well, I'm back, and let me tell you, it does a soul good to come back to the site and see all the positive posts....You guys really know how to brighten a girl's day...
I'm feeling so much better....and Wow! Everything has come into sharp focus...I didn't realize how much I was missing with my blurry eyesight! Oh btw, juni is my Michigan neighbor, and altho we've never met (we finally did by phone the other day), we don't live THAT far apart. I'm looking forward to meeting her in 3D one day. She's something pretty special, too....
