Hey BRM ~ Good choice, I love that quote Here's another Ghandi quote I like; quote: Interviewer - 'What do you think of western civilisation?' Ghandi - 'I think it would be a very good idea!'
and; quote: In a gentle way, you can shake the world
Now Mother Teresa; quote: Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless
My father had the fortune of meeting her, what a lady Welcome neostar! Cool name ------------------ "Once you can accept the universe as matter expanding into nothing that is something, wearing stripes with plaid comes easy." -Albert Einstein

astro, I heard about her through my mother, she went through a rough time and her Dr. prescribed her Anais Nin! Much better than the so called 'anti depressants'! I'd certainly prescribe a good book over drugs any day.pixie, I have a friend I call pixie!!, anyway, I have read LOTS here, and I can say I know whats what, hehehe... A sense of humor and an open mind is the best remedy Thanks for the welcome Sheaa Daphne IP: Logged |

Sheaa -Can you mail me something you've touched? That is truly awesome. Thanks for sharing. Neostar -
That news makes me damn proud of my blessings. I'm still tingling. aqua -
I realized we were mis-spelling at the get-go, but because it IS such an easily mis-spelled name. I hope you did your homework, as I'm sure you did. When I went on a brief scout to find it myself, I realized him being a household name was good enough for now. Also - Has anyone read "Crossing the Threshold of Hope"? IP: Logged |

Yeah ... the one by the Pope. The reason I mentioned is because of the way it's laid out. It is actually a transcribed interview between the author (the SKEPTICAL interviewer) - and the Pope. The questions are really challenging. Good fast read, or at least fast if you don't count all the times you put it down to reflect on certain sentences. Felt like I knew everything I ever needed to know about everything - and recommended for any others who could never get through the bible sane, like me. IP: Logged |

Aww juniperb, they're so awesome!!! It's too bad it is almost winter here, we have festivals in the autumn here where you can go around to people's llama and alpaca farms and walk them. Someday...I will have some of my own. IP: Logged |

All noted and wonderful! A.J. may I ask what you would do with something Sheaa touched? If it's not too personal. Would you like to compare it with something I've touched? Can you imagine getting something from everyone on L.L. and checking the overall spiritual reading?? Then compare it to a group of others, like a group of church goers, farmers, doctors, etc.?? That'd be so cool!!!IP: Logged |
