Okay..this is very odd..Normally I am healthy as a horse- (or shall I say..Half Horse..LMAO).

On Friday I started to feel very woozy...like I was going to faint. It lasted for about 30 minutes and then went away. It came back a few times on Saturday- but I was able to go hiking and hang out with my family.

Sunday morning I was feeling queasy..and floaty..but I didn't have any congestion or cough.. By that night I was exhausted and couldn't eat- nothing sounded good.

Then for two days all I did was lay on the couch with the exception of getting up to barf..LOL...bumping into things as I made my way to the bathroom.

It would also come in waves and I was hungry, but couldn't keep much down. So Mr. Taurus went out and picked up an EPT...(I had just finished a very odd period..) It came back negative (tested the day merc went retro).

But..I am still kind of shaky, the nausea comes and goes and I still feel floaty and tired off and on.

According to Astrobiology- my "fertile" time is when the Sun trines the moon- which is right before my cycle- which is exactly the time that we...well..you know...hee hee

So this may either be some kind of stomach flu (but I haven't had any other normal symptoms..such as cramps..or the big "d"). I don't have achy joints other than my head from the ummm...well giving thanks to the ceramic Goddess...hee hee...

Sooooo...anyone else deal with anything like this? I am going to take a second test next Monday- that should give us about 2 full weeks if we did conceive on the right date.

By the way...we also found out that Mr. Taurus is NOT going to be deployed to Iraq.... oddly enough, they decided to keep him here and have him fill in a position two grades higher than he is now. He actually is in charge of a division that will allow him to work a normal week AND normal hours ..how odd it that? Must be nice having a 12th house Jupiter.

okay when I was reading your symptoms I immediately thought "hrmm sounds like pregnancy to me"... before I got the part where you mentioned your fertile time and everything. So it seems you are trying for that?

If so -- sounds very good to me :P

Hi BRM,

Well, we aren't really trying- we are just kind of like..what ever happens - happens..but we do both want to start a family.

I just keep an eye on that Astro fertility thing- kind of as a test (Bio geek here) to see if there is anything to it- but also kind of doubting because it is so close to my time..I almost always land within a week of the full moon.

This time I was not only late (3-4 days) but it was also spotty - so...I wasn't quite sure.

This will be the first time for me..soooooo..LOL

Pid, so happy to hear from you!
I hope you feel better soon. Is Mercury retro at the moment? I can relate because the last time Mercury started moving backwards I got the strangest symptoms of vertigo and nausea and it held me for a month.
Great news about Mr. Taurus.
Are you trying to get pregnant?
That'll be sooooo cool!
as always!

Oh Yin...you just described it...except I am also vomiting- not as bad as before..then again Mercury is in retro in Sag right? Ahhh...and I am a Virgo rising- chart ruled by Mercury and these symptoms DID start a few days prior to the retrograde.

I'm glad to hear I am not the only one that has felt this..if it is Merc retro this is the first time it has hit me like this..then again.. this is the first time I have had Pluto marching towards my Sun / IC as well.

Thanks Yin

Oh, pid! I'm so happy to hear that Mr. Taurus wont be going to Iraq. I was thinking about that earlier today. That's great news!!!

I dont have any advice about your symptoms. But I will say that the first thing that popped into my mind was pregnancy as well. Now wouldnt THAT be exciting!!?!! Guess you'll have to wait and see what the test says on Monday. I hope you feel better though. Everything works out the way it's supposed to. The best is yet to come.

Pid, so happy to hear Mr. T will not have to leave you.

And I've gotta say it sounds like baby symptoms to me, too. Have you considered getting a check-up in the meantime?

If I am preggers it will be a Little Leo...My brother has a little Scorp that just turned two and a little Aquarian on the way. I guess we're trying to make a big Fixed Sign party of cousins..LOL..wouldn't that be a hoot? LMAO

pidaua, I'm glad to hear that Mr. Taurus won't be sent to Iraq as well. That must be a great relief.

So, what tipped me off when I was preggers was that my breasts became quite achy and sensitive- like the slightest bump could really hurt. Anything like that happening?
That sure would be exciting if you did have a bun in the oven!

Hey Pidaua! I'm so happy for the both of you!
How are you feeling about AZ. these days?
Maybe it's an Cochise County thing... I got smacked with something yesterday. Not quite as bad as you. I hardly ever get sick. By the way, when I got preggo with my little bugger, I went to the Dr. and the blood/urine test was negitive. I got home and did one of those EPT's and It was positive. I thought the Dr.'s test would be more reliable. Have you been to Hastings yet?

Its always good to take the EPT twice. My best friend took one in March, came up negative. Took one again in september...it was positive. She gave birth to her son on October 11th

However the symptoms you describe are a lot like the symptoms I had when I had food poisoning.

Do you mean to tell me that she took an EPT 1 month before she gave birth? That's one he!! of a symptom free pregnancy!

miss apples,

I have had food poisoning before--- and this wasn't it (my college thesis was on micro-organisms in food and food borne diseases....using our cafeteria as the sample..LOL...sorry..it was just too funny...) I thought it was that at first, but the floaty feeling and lack of stomach cramps confirmed it was not food poisoning...that and I hadn't eaten anything weird.

Pixie..well...I think that just may happen..not that we are "trying" but we aren't "not trying" LOL...

Harpyr,

Yeah..my chest is swollen, not as painful as before. I still feel a bit floaty- kind of off..BUT my vomiting has pretty much stopped- I did feel queasy this morning but it stopped soon after I walked around and started getting some things done. MIND over MATTER LOL... And Harpyr, thank you for your well wishes - it means alot.

Phillbird,

I LOVE Hastings..it is my refuge when I need to get out. I also like going to Tombstone and Bisbee. I am still looking for work, but it seems alot more promising now- before this possibility of Mr. T going to Iraq, then NOT going to Iraq, then on the list again..just kicked my rear..I was like WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO LOOK FOR WORK? Because if he went, I would move out to the Casa Grande / Phoenix area - lots more jobs...

Right now he has finally understood that I need to travel for sales and is cool with me doing that. LOL..and there is a possible position here as an Enrollment Counselor at the Univ of Phoenix..sooooo.....I'm trying to be optimistic.

Noreenz,

I have been peeing ALOT..more frequently and first thought it was a bladder infection (I get those quite easily) but didn't have any of the other symptons. I am also incredibly tired (well even that comes in spurts).

LOL..with my luck this is that whole Pluto stomping towards my Sun..

Hey Harpyr..how are you feeling..has Pluto been affecting you at all?

(typing with crossed fingers) tomorrow is Monday!

Good Luck! Remember the HCG levels double each and every day, so two weeks after should definately show.

Can't wait here, either

Oh, and I saw about your Taurus not going over to the sandbox
(and getting promoted :thumbsup x 2) -
I would've replied then, but I usually get on here just long enough to surf a bit before Meg either gets into something or starts fussing.

So, that being said, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

My friend is diabetic. Diabetes and pregnancy carry a lot of the same symptoms for women. She is a big girl already so she really didnt gain any weight out of the ordinary and thought the baby moving around was indigestion.
