I finally bought a car today!! I'm so excited about it, I just had to share. I got a 1993 Ford Explorer 4X4... just what I need to battle the snow storms Maine is throwing at me!! Finally, no more depending on Mum or friends for rides!! And I can finally get off my bum and get a second job, IT JUST GETS BETTER!! I took a little peek at my progressed moon chart, and it looks like I may finally be coming out of my 2 1/2 year rut! I have a Taurus moon progression... all about stability and practicality (for once in my life LOL) Just thought I'd share some good news!

How are all of you lovelies this evening???

to all of you!!

Hehe, yeah, I can drive up a mountain if I feel so inclined. It will come in handy this summer for my hiking missions to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Honda Civic eh, my best friend has one of those... not so good in the snow, and she owes about six grand to the bank for it.... I will NEVER buy a brand new car... it's just silly IMPO.

26,

When are you gonna move back to New Hampshire so I can?? :P Jk, girl... Vermont isn't that far It's dark blue, btw... with a UCONN sticker on the back window.. hehe... now I look like I actually went to college! *cheeky grin*

Well, I'm off to find me some veggies for dinnah. Check ya'll on the flip side. Word. (I'm such a dork!!)

All registered and insured!! Drove her around for a bit today, get the feel for her. What should I name her? I guess you really can't just name a car, it kind of names itself really... I'll have to be on the lookout for a sign as to what she wants to be called!

Well, what's going on in the world on this lovely Full Moon Tuesday?

Any interesting stories anyone?

He11s yeah! I usually go on the second Saturday in May, most of the snow is melted by then, and it's not too hot yet. I can't wait to hike this summer!! I will never be indoors if I can help it. I've been giving the treadmill a go almost every day to get myself back in shape... I also need to fast again... X-Mas food was just wrong for my body... It just stopped screaming "mommy, why with the processed cheese???" hehe

It's good to work in a restaurant too, all that running around. OMG!! I was polishing the silverware last night, and one of the other servers was carrying a huge try filled with full water glasses, and he was trying to set them down on this table, but there was already a small tray there, so I ran over to move the tray for him so he wouldn't drop it (it looked pretty darn heavy) and I slid on the wet floor (no sign to warn me, btw) straight under the kid, and into a metal rack filled with stock... In the process, the tray fell half way, about a dozen glasses slid off the edge and rained down upon me, and smashed all over the floor. It was soooo funny, I could not stop laughing! Everybody was flipping out, all like "OMG!! Are you okay? Are you hurt? Look out, there's broken glass all around you!!" .. but I just laughed and laughed. I had to spend the next hour of doing sidework soaking wet and dirty... (we wear white button up shirts btw... so that was pretty funny too ) Ahhh... anyways, had to share a little restaurant story...

I'm off to iron and get my (a bit sore) bum to work again. Here's hoping there will be no accidents tonight!

Awww Ghani. LOL That's so embarassing yet funny at the same time. I would have been laughing my butt off too. In all my years waitressing I've never dropped a tray or fallen thank Goddess. I've come very close but I have quick reflexes or something and always catch myself.
I did spill gravy on a pregnant woman accidentally once. Whoopsie. She was okay and the stain came right out luckily. She wasnt pleased but her husband thought it was hilarious and put her in her place after she was rude to me. It was an accident. What could I do? I quickly ran off to get something for her to clean herself up with after apologizing profusely. When I was going back to the table I heard him saying, "What do you want her to do? Cry about it? She said she was sorry, it was an accident." I'm like, yeah!! Right on! But I think I ruined her night. Oh well, it happens.

Cool, we'll have to go sometime in May. I havent been hiking in so long. I cant waaaait for the summer. I'm not a winter person at all. Gotta get myself back in shape as well. Maybe I'll do another fast. I really need to start drinking more water. Anyway....rambling.

Hoping you stay on your feet tonight.

Later,
26
