Hehehehehe ok, I was thinking to myself, how come there isn't a thread where people post strange and hilarious words? Well, problem solved! Everybody post your favorites!

I'll start:
-bungalow
-foibles (interesting, rather inappropriate story behind that one)

I remember once in high school, I was trying to be all cool like I had a big vocabulary or something. I went to use the word discombobulate all acting like I knew what it meant, but it totally backfired and everyone realised what a dork i am!

Fart's a funny word. My nanny always made us say Trump instead...which is so much worse.

'Poo-ey, whats that smell?'
'Oh, its only me. I've just trumped'

Er, no!

I do know, Danny, but I'm not sure you're mature enough to handle its true meaning. Only those of us in the "special" club know....

POOP - It just sounds funny...especially when a little kid says it. (I'm so immature )

My Grandma, a Libra had some funny words for life's unpleasantries, which were passed down to her grandkids through our moms. She called "number 1" - PO-PO'S (long O sound, like POE), and "number 2" - KEE-KEE'S.
Oh yeah! And she called the female private part a "Fanny-Annie-Rosie"

She was a kook. I miss her

awwwww... fanny annie rosie
that's cute!
What did she call the opposite gender's member?

My mom called farts "poop-bangs"
I think that word is worse than fart, and will use it only when necessary.. which is.. never.

I love Proxieme's 'poot' or 'pooter'

Male private parts - "little soldier"

(although she only had girls, and so did my mom, and so did my aunt, so she didn't really have much occasion to refer to the male private parts)

I dunno why, but "cam shaft" and "piston" have always made me laugh. I think mainly because my mind was so in the gutter for many years (ahhh, high school days).... i think i related to it on that level.
you know ..
piston - pis a ton
cam shaft - cam in ur shaft!

alot of car parts seem to have those wierd names or brands ...
