*sigh*....Okay guys....here's the story....  Four weeks ago last night....I was taking the trash out, and slipped on the ice!  OUCH! I could not get up....but luckily I was still on my side porch, so was able to crawl into house on hands and knees and to the phone...*sigh* Was taken to ER to learn I'd broken my ankle in three places on the right foot, and two toes on the left foot, not to mention a zillion bruises and some torn muscles...eeeeeeeee  Sufiice it to say that the next morning, I felt like I'd been hit by a truck!  Made a recent trip back to the Dr. where the cast came off with a "bootie/velcro strap" replacement and was informed that it will still be about four more weeks before I'm able to walk...*sigh* Oh well...it least it's only temporary.... Been kinda on the pity pot for weeks....but decided to finally share my "broken" story with you all..... Love,

OUCH....oh my gosh!!! I say, if ever a next time- get off the pity pot and have a pity party and invite all of us!!! Sorry for all your pain, geez, just thinking about broken toes, broken ankle in 3 places and bruising hurts. Much healing light coming your way, for a speedy recovery! IP: Logged |

Juni.....thanx....I'm afraid the healing process is a little slow... It will be six week tomorrow night that I broke my ankle (and toes) and there's no way that I'm ready to walk yet...*sigh* Maybe this is coming along slowly because I'm diabetic...plus of an "older" age...not mention a bit "fluffy."  ....but I'm gonna hang in..(what else can I do?) I wish I could say that Tom is spoiling me, but he left...however, he and Stephen too, do pop in to help me, every now and then...they grocery shop for me and take out the trash (I don't have very goodluck with that), etc.... Thank you for dropping by with your good wishes.....and good ones right back atcha... Love,
