Reading on the bus late at night on the way home from work as the rain lashes down outside. Really helps me chill out after a busy day in work.IP: Logged |

I love:Those new VW commercials with the guy who played one of the killers in the movie Fargo (he was also in The Big Lebowsky). They're highly stylized German art commercials with the German guy using American slang to sell the new VWs. His deadpan performances crack me up. IP: Logged |

I listening to the trees, and nature; it comforts and heals the soul....I love the way the gentle golden sunlight spreads itself across the landscape, making its colours so vibrant (and sunlight gives me endorphins- I likes them!).I the way that horses move; the wind in their hair; they must be grace itself..... I love all innocence hearts; the purety and simplicity; a babie's smile (they make me want to cry- I AM silly)....the innocence of animals. Cats and the way they move; their impish little ears and sensual affection; the simple joy of dogs as they run with pure excitement on a nice country walk....cute fluffy things....birds and their music; I find so calming... Music and poetry which resonates with my soul's own vibrational frequency. Good comedy. (like Seinfeld- heheh) And food......oh food And I love singing- but Simon Cowell wouldn't approve of my 'helium tones' I don't think! And oh......I love my little son...more than I love life itself! Oh I am lucky to have him! (Though hard work it may be!)

I love The rising sun in the Morning, when im coming from work. It makes me realize that i've made it through the dark once again.I love the Look on my virgo Daughter's face when she see's me for the first time that day. It makes my heart melt. I love the First spring rain, when the flowers are starting to bloom, and it's in the low 70's here and the rain just smells and fells so sweet. I love Almost anytime that im driving anywhere alone, the music is loud, and the wind is blowing. Makes me feel so free. I love those couple seconds that you can look at someone and everything in the world just feel perfect. If only you could hold that moment forever. I love everyone that loves something! IP: Logged |

To me, this says it all.The word by the Beatles Say the word and you’ll be free Say the word and be like me Say the word I’m thinking of Have you heard the word is love? It’s so fine, It’s sunshine It’s the word, love In the beginning I misunderstood But now I’ve got it, the word is good Spread the word and you’ll be free Spread the word and be like be Spread the work I’m thinking of Have you heard the word is love? It’s so fine, It’s sunshine It’s the word, love Every where I go I hear it said In the good and bad books that I have read Give the word a chance to say That the word is just the way It’s the word I’m thinking of And the only word is love It’s so fine, It’s sunshine It’s the word, love Now that I know what I feel must be right I’m here to show everybody the light Say the word and you’ll be free Say the word and be like me Say the word I’m thinking of Have you heard the word is love? It’s so fine, It’s sunshine It’s the word, love

I love that lyric The things I love most are: galloping one of my horses on the beach near my home Watching the sunset over the Pacific while listening to my favorite music on the stereo Driving Highway One either North to SF or South to Big Sur with my favorite CDs in tow Listening to the waves crash ( especially in the Winter )and Owls hooting late at night Hearing my son (the Music major turned Architect, lol) playing Bach on the piano when he visits Creating memorable dinner parties rowing across a lake where I spent my childhood summers Like AG, I also love waterskiing which I still do at that aforementioned lake, lol Also, like CM, I love rainstorms. Look forward to thunderstorms at the lake when I go back there Being there for others in time of need being curled up on the couch with my Sheltie snuggled at my feet in front of a roaring fire with a great book Being snowed in; either in the Sierras or back east Seeing roses bloom in my garden here in California in the WinterThere are other things, but I think for now, my list has got a good start... silvermoon IP: Logged |

Going to the beach and playing in the water. When I was younger I used to pretend I was a dolphin and I was fghting the current back into deep water, I couldn't use my arms so I had to be able to float without sinking, since then I can just float for hours as the waves rock me back and forth, specially here on the bay where the waves are not as big like they were in Peru is very nice. I love it even more when the sun gets under my skin and warms me up inside, is like cleaning my soul from inside out.Fills me up with strenght and at the same time sooths my spirit. IP: Logged |

I love:...walking in the rain, feeling it pouring down on me as I lift up my face to welcome it. ...skipping in the rain, hand in hand with the man I love. ...kissing in the rain, not sure whether its the raindrops or our arduousness that is getting our face soaking. ...crying in the rain, have the raindrops wash away my heartache. You know, I've never been a fan; I think they were before my time, and of the wrong genre for me to pay attention to while growing up, but I can't help loving this story:JOURNEY WELCOMES ARNEL PINEDA WITH “OPEN ARMS” TO THEIR FAMILY AS THE BAND’S NEW LEAD SINGER December 5, 2007 -- After much speculation…the wait is finally over. JOURNEY--Neal Schon (guitar), Jonathan Cain (keyboards), Ross Valory (bass), Deen Castronovo (drums)--is proud to introduce fans all over the world to their new lead singer, Arnel Pineda (“pin-eh-da”). He replaces Jeff Scott Soto, who parted ways with the band earlier this year after stepping in for Steve Augeri, who had to leave the band in 2006 for medical reasons. Arnel hails from Quezon City in the Philippines and has been singing Journey songs--in addition to original material--with his band, The Zoo, for the past couple of years in clubs all over his homeland. Joining the legendary band is a dream come true for him. “It’s so exciting to sing with one of the best bands in the world. It’ll be a lot of hard work on my part and I’m actually looking forward to the scrutiny I’ll get from the hardcore JOURNEY fans. I know they’ll expect me to sound exactly like ‘the voice’ (Steve Perry), but that will never happen. I know there's only one Steve Perry in this world.” When it was time for JOURNEY to look for a new lead singer, the internet came to their rescue. Guitarist Neal Schon wanted someone new to the music business, so he turned to YouTube. After finding Arnel singing “Faithfully,” he knew he had found the perfect frontman. “I was frustrated about not having a singer,” explains guitarist Neal Schon, “so I went on YouTube for a couple of days and just sat on it for hours. I was starting to think I was never going to find anybody. But then I found The Zoo and I watched a bunch of different video clips that they had posted. After watching the videos over and over again, I had to walk away from the computer and let what I heard sink in because it sounded too good to be true. I thought, ‘he can’t be that good.’ But he is that good, he’s the real deal and so tremendously talented. Arnel doesn’t sound synthetic and he’s not emulating anyone. I tried to get a hold of him through YouTube and I finally heard from him that night, but it took some convincing to get him to believe that it really was me and not an imposter.” Arnel Pineda picks up the story: “My friend Noel picked up the message on YouTube and told me it was from Neal. I thought it was a hoax so I ignored it. Noel said, ‘what if it really was Neal and he wanted to offer you the chance of a lifetime?’ So I e-mailed Neal back and the rest is history.” “Arnel brings a soulful and passionate voice to JOURNEY,” continues keyboardist Jonathan Cain. “His personality is very well-suited to our music. He’s a sincere, authentic person with a great smile and a big heart. I think fans are really going to love him. With Arnel’s soaring tenor, Journey returns to our heritage sound.” Schon agrees, “We feel reborn. I think there’s a lot of chemistry between the five of us. At first we were going to go into the studio and just write 4 songs, but now it’s escalated to a lot of great new and diverse material. The stuff sounds tremendous. Everyone’s so stoked about it. We feel very fortunate to have found Arnel.” JOURNEY is currently working on a new album with legendary producer Kevin Shirley, which they hope to release by spring/summer 2008. _________________________________ I've been hearing them on the radio the last couple months, and it really is incredible. It sounds as if Journey's been reconstituted with Steve Perry. That story is inspiring, though, and knowing immigrant Filipino musicians myself I know the pride that must be there. Filipino musicians are tremendously talented, and I know they can't seem to pierce our American market, so this really is something big (in my opinion). Years ago I picked up an album from an indy band, because I was able to listen to it in store (Borders) first. It was really good. It was three Filipino's and a white woman. Moonpools and Caterpillars was their name, and they were as professional and accessible musically as could be. I think the lead singer could have easily been a Gwen Stephani. They didn't go anywhere, though. They faded. So I'm glad to see another Filipino making inroads. IP: Logged |
