AG quote: You know, I hate musicals generally, but song and dance numbers in sitcoms and so forth are great.
Have you seen the Chris Rock movie "I Think I Love My Wife"? It has a hilarious scene at the end involving a song number.

I love that... an unmarried 27 year old mother of three who was a teen mother is setting up admirable systems for her children to behave under. I'm in awe of her devotion to her job of mothering. Today she was finding tutoring for her eldest believing wholeheartedly that she must save her daughter's school life to set the example for the younger ones. It's going to be quite expensive, and she's going to be paying for it for years in all likelihood, but she thinks it's worth it, and I agree with her. (She's a Virgo.) IP: Logged |

I love last night - sleeping out under the stars with my Pisces and waking to see the crescent moon coming up over the valley, two satellites, the Milky Way, Pisces' lovely sleeping face and his Russian sheepskin hat and knowing that I am blessed. I also love cheese. I love the anticipation of knowing I will see a dear friend on the weekend who I haven't seen for 4 years. IP: Logged |

Hey AG, don't suppose you've ever seen the musical episode of Buffy?! It's genius!Crimony this thread is old! I was 15 then and now I'm 18! There's a lot more you learn to love in that time... tehe. I really do love too much to list... a lot of nice things are circumstantial though and you can't make them happen yourself. Such as love itself. IP: Logged |

I'm pretty firmly against Buffy in general. I associate it with all of my roommate's fantasy shows, which isn't a good thing. That said, I have liked the musical numbers I've seen in tv shows, because they're usually a lot sillier than a bonafide musical.IP: Logged |

I love the taste of a crisp pinot grigio I love the taste of steak tartar, love brie and olives, love love first kisses (with good kissers LOL) and love sleeping outdoors under the night stars with someone I love. I love reading a good book and re-reading it again. I love laughing so hard I cry. I love making a meal for people I care for and sharing it with them. I love planning for an exciting new trip. I love floating in the water on my back, with my eyes open, looking at the sky.

Nice thread AG!I love the 5 minute long hugging and kissing session I get every morning from my 8 yr old son before he gets out of the car in the morning for school. My very first love is music! I love a roaring fire on a crispy cold evening. I love being alone in the house...just once in awhile. Deep belly laughs that leave me gasping for air! I love watching the dog run around the house with a fire under her feet... for no aparent reason lol.. I LOVE LL!!

Awwww...BM stole my line! I was also gonna say I love AG. And now that I know how much you love musicals, I'll add that I love:"Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens Something, something, something, woolen mittens Brown paper packages wrapped up in strings These are a few of my faaaaavorite things" OK... I love sleeping in the desert. Joshua Tree under the stars and a vibrant blue sky. Wow. Someone said this, but it's a biggie on my list...I love the rare person that reeeealllly gets me I love when a person can disconnect from themselves and see the deeper meaning I love happy endings in movies I love good surprises, but they rarely happen I love a dry sense of humor (Bercedes...HA!) I love the clean and simple things..straight from nature, before men start adding chemicals and all that jazz I love music that can hook me and make me obsess over it for a while I love hanging out with people who sing and play guitar (especially when camping) I love climbing mountains I love how honest kids are I love that love never ends 8th IP: Logged |

Acoustic, this is a great thread, thank you so much. It's making me think more on what I love, which I really need to do right now since I'm in such a crappy mood lol. I'm not going to stop until I feel a little better : I love listening to music in the dark I love becoming aware of certain synchronicity I love the sizzle of butter in the frying pan, followed by a little olive oil and then some thinly sliced onions I love sleeping in the arms of someone I love (did I say that one already before? I think I really miss it) I love making own bread from scratch, because it makes me feel like more a patient person LOL I love it when the seasons change, when the temperature drops or rises just a little and you can feel it, and it catches your skin's attention before you become completely aware I love sushi. I miss it. I love it when someone I love tells me a secret. I love oysters on the half shell. Malpeq oysters. Alaskan Blue Points. Chilled. Their cold flesh, at once metallic and vibrant and full on the tongue. I love wolves I love cats I love snakes I really, really love driving across the country, taking road trips and singing at the top of my lungs I love stargazing I love the thought of leaving an old place, arriving at a new one. I love the fact that I'm thinking about things I love instead of things that depress me I love Bearnaise sauce. I really do. I wanna like, lie in a tub of it. I love arranging sketch comedies in my head. I love traveling, but love the idea of returning home more right now. I love San Francisco. I love New Orleans. Ok. I think I feel better. LOL. Thanks for the therapy. How much shall I make the check for?

So many things, but two that come to mind right now are:Hearing other people's good news. Reconnecting with people I haven't seen for a long time, and one that I thought I might never speak with again. IP: Logged |
