American holidays correlate perfectly with the zodiac signs:

Easter, aries, springtime/renewal/rebirth etc etc.

Independence day, cancer, homeland, home pride, ancestry

Labor day, virgo, busy work, details, labor

Halloween, Scorpio, death, masks, the supernatural

Thanksgiving, sagittarius, bounty, overeating, laughter

Christmas, capricorn, materialism, ceremony, ritual

Am I missing any?

i know these arent holidays, but:
Mothers day-Taurus, shouldnt that be in july?

and whats up with fathers day being in june? I dont know a single person who really appreciates their gemini father...would it have been better in January?

btw, Valentines Day would have been better in April (aries) or October (libra) in my opinion, as opposed to February.

Love
SG

Well I have been married to a Capricorn and a Virgo and now a Cancer.
The only one that fit here with holidays was the Capricorn.

SGA,

Considering Hallmark invented those holidays it's no wonder that they suck at astrological correspondence.

Also there is a new "Hallmark Holiday" I have been hearing about at the supermarket called "sweetest day". What the heck is that!?
