Fayte  We are much the same way which is why I think we get along so well with each other.  Truthfully, I am a quiet person as well. I never pass up the opportunity to share my opinions though and neither do you. I have a very subtle and perhaps am a bit sarcastic in my humor and being an intense person sometimes people take me seriously when I am only joking or being sarcastic. Happens just as frequently offline as it does online. So for that reason I think both you and I are misunderstood often. But not our fault that people tend to put other people in neat little boxes when truthfully we are all multi-faceted. Have to run now as there is black van with completely black windows parked in front of my house with someone behind the wheel and the engine running. It is has been there for a while and is giving me the creeps.  IP: Logged |

Okay, about the black mini-van. It was creeping me out so bad that I called the managers office. I live in a housing complex where we have neighborhood watch and a manager. Lisa was leaving to go the store and it creeped her out so much that she came back to the door and told me to lock the doors. I watched to see if the guy followed her when she left as I thought it might be someone stalking her. But it stayed for a long time after she left and that is why I called the manager to see if she could send someone down to check out the guys intentions for just sitting there idling his car for over half an hour. She told me this same black mini-van with someone doing the exact same thing in front of people's houses has been reported by other people in here as it creeped them out too. It creeps her out as well. The guy must have seen me through the window on the phone because he took off real fast as I was talking to the manager. I have grand daughters that play in the driveway and ride their bikes up and down the sidewalk so this scares me. I told the manager that if I see the van again I will go out and get the license plate number. She told me that usually people call too late so she doesn't have time to send someone down to check out the guy. I told her that is because at first you think the guy is waiting for someone at another house until he is sitting there too long for that. Then you start to get concerned. So it seems we have someone in the neighborhood either staking out houses to see who is alone and vulnerable during the day or up to no good of some kind and this really scares me with the kids and all. Creepy car too. I have a red mini-van but when it is all black with all darkly tinted windows they look very creepy. IP: Logged |
