MG, I know it's sad.War is not the answer. I wish Bush will realize that. The only reason why I posted it because it seemed that America seems to get into more wars than any other nation. That post was a shout out for the troops. Are there any military knowflakes in this forum?. IP: Logged |

Oh, actualy I was saying that WW2 was the last war america was in, that we should have taken part of. Sadly,, I can no longer say Im sure even that we had the best motived for joining that war either.. but I do beleive we had every just cause to join in arms against the 3rd Reich. Was saying every war we have been in since then, has been obsurd, and for nothing but the most corrupt reasons... hmmm,, maybe we would have been better off just leting Hitler win ? Whats the difference if he was our world leader, or a nation and Empire of tyrany such as this one ruleing ? Atleast with the Reich in dominion over us- we would have known full well who's running the show as oposed to our ever faceless government we serve now. IP: Logged |

Will I realy have to elaborate that lotus ? Atleast to some degree,,, his Regime was far more honest to the public then ours [and yes I know they lied alot to the German peaple]. Just wait and see what america becomes in a few more years. Or more acuratly put- just wait till what america has been becoming, is blatently displayed for all to see, - too the point where even the most loyal of W fans, and Yay yay Democrats and woohoo republicans can no longer deny what is in front of them. What this Empire is becoming, already is, and the threat its going to pose to the entire globe- is far worse then what even Hitler commited. [btw- for the many of oyu who dont know- the holocost, and the 3rd Reich where far from the most tragic and murderous crimes commited by a single empire in history. Although your Hebrew owned and dominated medias and school curiculims dont want you as a mass to know that. Very true it is- Rome, Greece, Egypt, Sumeria, and certainly early Isreal, where far more succesfull in crimes against humanity then nazi Germany was] IP: Logged |

Im sorta not the american president [as if he has any real power and controll now anyway],,nor am I a member of congress,,nor a supreme court judge.. and there isnt enough americans willing to risk thier lives for a revolution... ssssssoooooooooooooooo,,,, Im kinda powerless to do anyhting to keep america from becoming the 4th reich. Dont think just wishing wishing wishing a major tryranical empire in the making away is gona fix the problem... but keep wishing if thats what makes yeah feel better. Im just kinda in a sedated state of "what happens happens, carved in stone anyway" my self on this. IP: Logged |

In general, I think, people tend to be very now oriented and shortsighted. Just the fact that someone has pointed out that America tends to get into the most wars, well frankly, it makes me giggle. Has no one heard of the centuries PRIOR to the 20-21st centuries? Uh, I think you will find that America didn't start getting into wars in a big way until WAAAY late in the game. It's called history, folks....AND, I would like to add that every once in awhile, America should be appreciated for it's immense contributions to the world society--or isn't that cool nowadays? Space Program Film Jazz Engineering/Scietific Computer/Internet Ending world-wide slavery in a BIG way. $billions each year spent on charity/world help. It's a long list, my friends... IP: Logged |

What exactly do you have against America? Why so bitter, Magus? The only reason Americans don't see as much of the space program isn't because the gov't thinks you are stupid, but because it doesn't bring in the ratings. And, as we know, RATINGS ARE EVERYTHING *rolly eyes*.Why exactly do you think the gov't would speng $billions on a space program and deliberately not show the people? That's how they keep the funding going... It's not rocket science... IP: Logged |

*groan* Taken out of historical context, yes. Have any idea how many wars the United Kingdom/British Empire had been? The Chinese Empire? Communist China? Japan? Germany, and it's preceeding principalities combined? France? Russia/USSR? The African nations? How about the Roman Empire and its preceeding city-states? If you were aware of historical for a broader sense than from what most Americans gets from the newbits on CNN, you'd know that 1) the US isn't involved more in war than other nations historically (even if we have more military weight to throw around) and 2) we don't by far hold a monopoly on war. War is a constant and universal human experience. The reality is that the US isn't adding or making more war - we're just doing want historically humans have always done. Warfare is apparently a very primative inclination: even chimpanezes wage clan-on-clan warfare among themselves, and they are genetically one of our closest primate cousins. Dolphins and killer whales have been observed committing warfare-like behaviors on other species (including other porposies and dolphins). Wild elephants have been known to rampage and kill other elephants, other species and human. That means that our inbred inclination to kill each other has pre-homo sapiens, evolutionary roots. That also means that incination to kill each other *preceeds* our inclinations to moralize about this. Perhaps that's way anti-war moralizing has *never* worked. Neither has pinning the blame on this or that country, or this or that leader. So it's not the US government that's a bunch of warmongers - it's the human race as a whole. That may cynical to some's moralistic reflexes, but if we are going to evolve into a none war-waging race we are simply going to need to confront the very essence of our human nature and our evolution. And apparently we're not ready for that. So, until then, there's going to be war in our world. IP: Logged |

Excellent point Gemini Lotus: People have ALL kinds of reasons for being homeless: mental illness being a common one as well as abuse. EVERY country in the world has homeless people. Take England, for instance. We have the NHS and Council Housing as a benefit, YET, ever year we cannot tide the rising group of homeless. Just go into London and you will see what I mean. Be fair, Lotus. IP: Logged |
