I wasn't keen on it. It seemed that they did the bare minumum with it, but maybe that's because I was spoiled by the BBC's live action adaptations when I was younger. They're available on DVD now and are highly recommended.

I liked the movie, and also thought the children were perfect for their roles.
I think this book was the first that I bought through a book ordering service we had in middle school (they would hand out small catalogues every so often, so that we could take them home and order something). I remember when my book arrived, I opened it up in class and thought, "Oooohh!" I couldn't wait to get home and start reading.

I also enjoyed Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
