It's no biggie, with the exception of when a person uses several user names and then goes on to post to themselves and gang up on others.

Some people just like change- for example- shop22much is also AND and Writesomething. BUT, she always let's us know that she changed her name.

LOL.. it just gets hard when someone asks a question and you say "Oh.. so and so was having that same problem maybe they could help you" To which the reply is "Oh.. LOL.. I am that person".

See... LOL..

Like others have said, many people change usernames cause they want a change, not because they have devious intentions.

We all agree that there are times when we need to use the "edit" button . Like Silverstone and I said, there are times when we expose to much of ourselves or there are times when other's use that personal information against us.

Our only beef is when someone says something and then gets called on it- but they run back and edit the post in an act of deception.

Not many Knowflakes do that here.. we do have a great bunch of people.

I am sorry you had to go through what you did. That poster has a few issues and shouldn't have responded to you the way he did.

I go to another site, CE and there I am moonflower. Tried to use that same screen name here but it wouldn't take it saying it was already in use. Funny though because I have never seen a moonflower around here since I have been here.

I was another name for a few years, before I (yep, spaced out and forgot my password )was H&S, but I was mostly a reader for those years (more active on other forums) and the posts are so few it probably wouldn't be worth mentioning.

So, I've been around here since 2001.

I am such a bad, bad person!

When I was The passenger, I pratically never have the faintest idea what the heck I was talking about. I simply fought with people all the time, mostly about vegetarianism or veganism. I had admitted a couple of months ago that what I did was really stupid. So I figure quite a lot of you are not so compelled to speaking to me because I'm notorious- I think I can understand. After all I indeed was totally unstable and irrational.

Then when I was Eternal Blue, I was very afraid that people would find out that I was previously The passenger, so I kept my hometown/home territory confidential, and at one point I even tried to pretend that I could be from anywhere else, but not from Taiwan...I was spending the majority of my time then writing poems in the For The Yellow Wax And The Ants forum; I didn't want folks to realize that I was Dana, from Taiwan, and one of the nasty things I did then was that a knowflake became interested in me, asked for my email address, and this was truly nasty of me- I created an email address under a false name, and along with that I also created a false identity, with a false sun sign. After a while, I plunged into yet another depressive episode, I disappeared. That lady knowflake was genuinely worried about me, and as well as some others, but I never spoke up to let them know that I was still alive. That was really unforgivable of me, I think.

While as Eternal Blue, I started a topic about what your only wish would be if you could have only one wish. Many people replied "more wishes" and referred to the movie "The Butterfly Effect"; I, however, never told other fellow knowflakes what my only wish would have been. Only later on I would respond to myself under my 3rd username SadMoon. But I must emphasize here that although I did reply to myself, and that certainly sounds seedy, but I never replied to my other username with my existing username(s). I chose not to answer that as the same person, as Eternal Blue- because I was a coward. In my post as SadMoon, I said "Sometimes I wish I could evaporate", and that had been in fact my real only wish.

Nonetheless, I was being so very nasty. Dishonesty is nasty, no matter what shape and form dishonesty is presented; for one thing: my first post as Eternal Blue was a poem I wrote entitled "Unhappy"; later on, I edited the entire poem and most of my replies to other knowflakes who had replied to me merely because I was scared of the possibility that my then acquaintance, Benjamin Zephaniah, would have sensed I had beeen having depressive episodes, problems with my moods, and a mental disorder.

So that was my sordid history. I hope I will not commit such petty crimes ("petty" as lousy, stupid and low-down) again. I aspire to become a new person- a better person.
