post note: .. was thinking down the line of .. before .. it was 'evan gabriel .. add your surname'
.. or now 'euwan gabriel .. plus your surname' .. gives a ring of "'adventurer from distance med shores with an aristocratic heritage'" .. .. however 'everett ect. sounds a bit .. er .. can't quite find the words .. .. well .. nope .. words amiss .. well pussycat instead of tiger ..

We looked into Ewan.. it showed up on the list a few times.

Happy D, you know my name right?
I'd like to honour a specific era in my last child....
And Everett seems to fit the bill.. whether you approve or not... to which I say
"Make your own baby."

It's not finalized... but I really really think it works all together.... it's hard to please everyone, but as long as the immediate family is more pleased, and most especially us... thats all that matters.

Everett is a good one, I think. I like old-fashioned names. They're so popular now but that one isn't overused. I think I changed my mind about the name 20 times or so between February and September. Finally he made his own choice known. Keep your eyes and your ears open, Pix.

Sorry Pix, I'm going to steal your thread for a sec to say hi to the elusive Tink!

Will you share more with us soon about your sweet new baby? Take care!

**Pix, is it still Everett? I, too, like old-fashioned names.

it would be cool if the first name had two syllables

then you would have the poetic ring
of "2, 3, 4"
as in,
"romans, countrymen, lend me your ears"

I'm thinking "Dante" for some reason.

(maybe i'm thinking "dante gabriel rossetti")

Whatever you decide on
will be the right name.

love!

I like the idea of poetic rhythm.

Just so you know... you don't really pronounce it......Ev-Er-Ett
It's more like Ev-Ret
So it works

So far so good, and I looked at a bunch of names again today. It's still at the top of the list.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions!!!!
Oh! You know what's crazy?
If you look at the top baby names for boys in recent years.. most have the ending sound 'en'

Caden Hayden Aiden Owen etc.
I was drawn to that sound as well... but it astounded me at every site I went to, the sheer number of 'en' sounds!!! So I am rebelling.

"Everett Gabriel" really has a nice ring to it. Of course, he'll probably need a pseudonym if he ever wants to conquer the galaxy, but he'll be set for most other things.

So Glaxxor is still free, then? Good. I sort of regretted mentioning it...

Everett is one of my favourite 'old fashioned' boys' names. Another one is Emrys, which I think is wonderful for a boy OR girl, although it is traditionally a masculine name. Good choice, PixelPixie!

Well that's settled then!!!
haha.
I love it.

Thanks so much for that numerology info, and!
Thank you also, everyone who contributed and helped me.
Of the names considered and offered, threre is always a personal reason.... for instance, I know a Dante, he's my daughter's age, is in her class...... Michael is his daddy's name, Aaron is my cousins' as well as aiden and ethan and evan, colin..... nathan is our friend's name... johnny, same thing....peter.. well, I love his music, but not THAT much, Glaxxor.. Johnny doesn't really want to part with it.......( though there is the possibility of a name change, should he enter the world domination arena........)
So all the ones offered have already been deemed inappropriate for a personal reason.. I just figured I'd explain.
Yes, still liking the Everett Gabriel.
Thanks so much!
