Be careful you don't misunderstand the British sense of humour Dulce. Besides, Ronaldo DID cheat and thought he was clever for doing it. He showed absolutely no respect for Rooney who is his club team-mate. Van Nistelrooy also left Manchester United because of Ronaldo. He is a great player, but not a great kid it seems.

If there was any violence directed at him or threats then that would be disgusting, but unless you understand the hilarity involved in the expression of anger within football then you may be offended. The internet could never teach you that.

Suffice it to say any player will tell you England is the best place to play out of the top countries because the players get more respect and left to live their lives in a normal fashion. (not including the Press obviously)

Ronaldo is now respected because he has been playing so well and most people have gotte over it. Don't miss the tongue in cheek aspects, though idiots would use it as a bandwagon to preach hate.

If Ronaldo played in Italy his life would probably have been in danger. Fans there set fire to the stadiums if they don't get a result or ambush their own players outside.

The English are a good bunch. We have our dark side but so does everyone else and we have contained ours.

I know, people have argued that to me (even here in the U.S) before. But the thing is, Ronaldo wasn't playing for Man-U that time, he was playing for Portugal. And it was between his clubmate or his countrymen...atleast that's how I saw it. I won't even argue about whether or not Rooney meant to step on Carvalho's balls..LOL. Only Rooney knows the answer to that. (I don't think you wanna know my opinion on that )

But I could guess that most of the people who made those sites were probably hooligans...sheesh, they're everywhere.

When you said that thing about the Italians burning the stadiums I immedediately thought of Argentina. Me and my gramps watched a game from their "La Ligua" and it was nuts at the end of the game!!!

*Edit*
And Xodian, you play every weekend? That's cool, I've been thinking of doing that for a while at the Local Indoor Place but I've been too lazy...LOL.
