True Faith, that's my favorite song from them, and it's on one of my favorite albums of all time.

There are days, and then there are DAYS...

when a girl, alone, has to make an event of an average Monday...

The nearest club is probably 12 or 15 hours away... so I turn down the lights, turn up the tunes REAL loud, and dance dance like tomorrow doesn't matter.

True Faith is always on the rotation.

Gotcha I miss the faerie lights too.

On my asteroid, normal means acceptable, common, ordinary. And there's nothing wrong with that, I suppose. Except for this ... I don't think "normal" chooses most people. I think most people choose normal. And there, it seems to me, lies the sadness.

just keep singing your song, MK. You're doing just fine.

12 to 15 hours?! Wow! I certainly live closer to a club than that, though I don't generally go to them these days. I do love to dance, though.

I admit it's a little tough keeping up the cool song lyrics. Most don't quite catch what I'm looking for, though the song's mood may sound correct. Here's another Radiohead gem:

That there, that's not me
I go where I please
I walk through walls
I float down the Liffey

I'm not here
This isn't happening
I'm not here, I'm not here

In a little while
I'll be gone
The moment's already passed
Yeah, it's gone

I'm not here
This isn't happening
I'm not here, I'm not here

Strobe lights and blown speakers
Fireworks and hurricanes

I'm not here
This isn't happening
I'm not here, I'm not here....

Well that one was certainly uplifting! Thanks, AG.

Sounds like you all could use some sunshine and heat! (seasonal effective disorder?)
Here you go.

damn all the days
7 rainy day girls
wake at my sleep singing
damn all the days
7 years ago today
there was a young man in my place
i never stop to count the days
damn all the days
that there's no conversation
we're dumb but still talking
damn all the days
7 years ago today
i was a young man in my way
i never stop to count the days
i want to be wanted in my time
i want to think time is on my side
i want to be standing in my shoes
i want to be just like you
damn all the days
7 names that remind me
sundays have failed me
damn all the days
7 years ago today
i was a young man in my way
i never stop to count the days
7 years ago today
i was a young man in my way
i never stop to count the days
