Oh no, it's a girl thing too... Rosie's interesting thoughts of the last day or so include trying to convince me that Lily the parakeet does indeed have breasts, don't I see them? Two little bumps? I try to tell her that breast for birds is the roughly the same as chest, so both boy and girl birds have a breast, like a robin red breast for instance... but she isn't buying it. She just points to me and says, that is your chest (above my breasts), these are your breasts, and that is your belly. I try not to draw attention to any body part above the other but she was breast fed so she still has a bit of a fascination with the breasts. She also likes to wow onlookers with her claims to have a baby in her belly.

~I have a lot of blessings in my life

~It seems like I haven't got enough time when I'm busy

~It seems as if I haven't got enough energy when I'm not busy

~I feel like time is going by too fast with my daughter and I can't give her enough attention and company

~I think about what it would be like if she had a father and a sister

~I guess that would come with it's own problems though

*sigh*

~I wonder if I'm hormonal

When I saw your *edit* I felt like I had just seen a present on my porch and then when I approached, it POOFED away before I got to see what was inside the wrapper. I saw your Funk thread and opened it like the present I wish I had and lo and behold,

I found a present!!!

~~~~~~~~~~>>>>"Well kids-
its been almost a week since I acknowledged the funk. Lo and behold, so many of you are right there with me in the pit.
I am going to blame it on Mercury Rx- I am always a mess when Mr. Mercury decides to spin widdershins and mess with my reality- taunting me with the "what ifs" and the "should and woulds and you could have done this instead.." <<<~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MK
Oh look, I even stole your "lo and behold". Well, that's exactly what my Virgo Merc was doing... a little "what if" taunting.
~Maybe I can sleep in peace now...?
~Glad you stopped by MK
~My gold purse does not like your Dress song at all, Steve. I think it's ok, so we have decided to let you live *stroking my stuffed cat*
~I loved the Oprah Academy thing last night, good job Aquarian woman!!!!!! All those little girls without mothers... I boo-hooed through most of it
~My young Scorpio friend just reminded me that we are almost halfway through the semester and there is still Spring Break to consider, so I think I might just make it through
~Do you know that thanks to MercRx I spent over four hours total on the phone with tech support and changing settings on my computer to run Statistics movies that worked for the first month of class, but just decided not to work over the last couple weeks? They finally work.
~mmmmmmmm
she lifts her skirt up to her knees,
walks through the corn-rows with her bare feet, laughing.
i never learned to count my blessings,
i choose instead to dwell in my disasters.
i walk on down a hill,
through grass, grown tall and brown
and still its hard somehow to let go of my pain.
on past the busted back of that old and rusted cadillac
that sinks into this field, collecting rain.
will i always feel this way?
so empty, so estranged
and of these cut- throat busted sunsets,
these cold and damp white mornings
i have grown weary.
if though my cracked and dusted dime-store lips
i spoke these words out loud would no one hear me?
lay your blouse across the chair,
let fall the flowers from from your hair
and kiss me with that country mouth, so plain.
outside, the rain is tapping on the leaves,
to me it sounds like they're applauding us the the quiet love we made.
will i always feel this way?
so empty, so estranged
well i looked my demons in the eyes,
laid bare my chest, said do your best, destroy me.
you see, i've been to hell and back so many times,
i must admit you kind of bore me.
there's a lot of things that can kill a man,
there's a lot of ways to die,
listen, some already did that walked beside me.
there's alot of things i don't understand,
why so many people lie.
its the hurt i have inside that fuels the fire inside me.
will i always feel this way?
so empty, so estranged
*lifts blanket from lap to reveal a pair of snap front JEANS*
YAYAYAYAYAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! I can wear jeans again, never mind that they are a little larger than the jeans I use to wear but with children comes bigger butts! :bounce and I don't wanna hear about it if your butt went back to it's regular size afterwards!)
A ham and cheese samish is the best punish-your-significant-other food out there..especially when he's expecting roast or something.
Why OH why can't monopoly money be real????
I think melody's blessed too~~
I wish people would learn that there is a fine line between a drink and a drunk
Do you think there is something Freudian in the fact that I've chosen a man who is just enough like me for the world to think it's scarey and just enough UN-like me for them to also wonder how we ended up together?
~I don't want to think about pregnancy and figures! All this mental exercise should burn more calories. And what's with the shoe size?? I guess you needed a larger area to balance all of that extra belly and azz
~I think Math makes you evil. I think mean thoughts toward my statistics teacher quite often. I'm going to have to do a centering ritual and prayer before beginning math related activities from now on or I might go over to the dark side of the force...
~My brain is so over-worked lately, I think it's blowing fuses.
~I wish somebody would make me a ham and cheese samich, I mean samish hehe I'll take anything that I don't have to cook myself and I'LL LIKE IT! If someone threw the paper plate away for me when I was done I'd feel like QUEEN OF THE WORLD!!!
"math makes you evil"
oh, i love that one. Ever notice accountants have NO sense of humor? actually, they do- but no one else gets it.
we should rename this thread "mercury mania" dear MM... it has your initials.
and your pretty eyes...
ok, I am the one with an odd sense of humor. but this is your baby, lets see if it plays nice with mine...
~i believe that if "The Inferno" was written today, another level of H*ll would be added for marketers and advertising executives~
~thanks for reminding me of my latest obsession- ham and cheese- all i want to eat is ham and cheese sammitches. i think because i gave up pork for 8 years, i am making up for lost time~
~ i eat chicken out of spite. i grew up on a farm- had to feed the chickens-the chickens attacked me every day. take that, b!tches!! i am bigger than you now!!! with opposable thumbs!!!~
all day it felt as if i was walking thru molasses- did Mercury do its standstill today? something is up. i can feel it. my psychic spider-sense has been so eerily accurate lately its freaking me out.
hmmmm...
.....goes off to make sammitches...
That full lunar eclipse is all about me, baby- Virgo Virgo Virgo.
I am anticipating chaos, emotional melodrama, chain smoking, and manna raining down from heaven..
You know, just a typical Saturday for me.
PS... I would give anything for a thunderstorm right now....
Leo DON'T YOU DARE!!! (oh, the smoking, not the sammich ~ that sounds lovely...) You will have to take up flavored cigars on an occassional basis. Do not go through that Hell again just because you feel a craving. And there are studies now about the chemicals remaining on your clothes and contributing to asthma etc for the kids, even if you only smoke outside and not in the house or car.
Oh, I'm getting a teenie twitch now... hey, I read that licorice and sunflower seeds help nic cravings.
Think of all the $$$ you can use for books or clothes or pretty gems!
~Ok, I know, you said it was just a temporary urge but I had to hammer that lid back down for ya!
BlueMoon, as Forrest's mamma would say:
"Stupid is as stupid does."
Now...
~SOMEBODY STOP ME FROM GOING OVER TO THE DARK SIDE OF THE FORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(now should I Google "Prayer to help Statistics Teacher realize his mistakes" or "Spell to make Statistics Teacher accidentally erase all of our grades and be forced to give us all A's"...) nah, that wouldn't work anyway, he'd just make us take ANOTHER of his impossible tests to determine our knowledge of statistics so far. Then I'd really be in trouble. So much for my 4.0 this semester. Maybe they'll determine my scholarships before they get the final transcript. *waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah*
Where have you two been hiding? What a delight
Ok, I have to go back to my Mercury Retrograde battle with the car. Good thing the Universe sent me a couple guys to help me push and one of them actually took my battery home to charge it and clean the connections and now he is starting my car. His gf is going to drive back here so he can drive my car back if he gets it to start. He also happens to know one of my favorite neighbor guys. Groovy
