those are some seriously talented crafts on those pages... .i just saw what you said about the blue hearts Azala....i just think of them as more mellow and kind love, rather than the intense and glowing red heart love. i think the official meaning is compassion....sometimes blue just seems more mellow than red, i s'pose. sweet that you mentioned it.

naiad ~re: the blue hearts -- thanks for explaining how you were using them It's hard to tell sometimes how people see the meaning of each of these emoticons..... I wouldn't blame you for being a tad distressed about being told to knock it off, as if you were a naughty child. I admire your aplomb, and your respectfulness, which was certainly not returned in equal measure But anyway, I'm sure you know about selling your crafts on eBay. But I ran across a similar site the other day: http://www.etsy.com/ I'm interested in doing the same as you -- making and selling things online..... The ubiquitous summer craft shows are a lot of work, but you can make a lot of sales in a short time..... Here’s a few more online Crafts Sales spots: http://www.craftmall.com/ http://www.freecraftfair.com/ http://www.artsefest.com/ http://www.kinfolkcrafts.com/countrykitchen.htm I dislike About.com because of its annoying setup, but there’s some good info there: http://artsandcrafts.about.com/od/placestosel1/Links_to_Places_to_Sell_your_Crafts_Online.htm An eBook on how to sell online: http://www.bob-baker.com/qt/sell.html And more “How To” sites: http://www.craftmarketer.com/ http://www.at-homeworks.com/crafts.htm IP: Logged |

I'm sure you'll be a success, naiad My great-grandma did tatting like these little sachet-bags -- fascinating, but really tedious, meticulous work. When I crochet it's with a "J" hook, I won't touch size 00 Or here's some alternate sachet styles: Zala PS: I would definitely buy a sachet or two from you IP: Logged |

naiad ~Thought of you when I ran across this site today..... http://crystal-cure.com/animal-totems.html It made me think of amulet bags..... http://www.geocities.com/fullmoon_magic/sachets.html http://www.cjmorgan.com/paper-vessels/choosing-love.htm http://krostberg.home.mindspring.com/ http://beadwork.joust.net/Gallery_II.html http://www.healingbeadwork.com/knitted.html http://www.uniquebeadedjewelry.com/patterns/pegasushandbagkiit.html http://www.theammashop.org/mdbp.html Beaded bags are time-consuming, but the materials are relatively cheap and you can charge a lot more IP: Logged |

naiad ~I don't know why I keep thinking of you when I run across artsy things on the web..... But here's another one: http://www.theangelladies.com/angel_ladies_divine_imprin.htm Have you ever worked with polymer clay?? These are "medallions" or pendants, as you will..... (note how much they charge for one 1-1/2" diameter pendant!!) Sculpey is one of the polymer-clay suppliers: http://www.sculpey.com/projects.htm (people like me buy these one-of-a-kind beads to work with in our designs ) http://www.amazon.com/Polymer-Clay-Creative-Traditions-Techn iques/dp/0823040658/ref=pd_sim_b_4/103-1161960-6271833 http://www.amazon.com/Making-Polymer-Beads-Step-Step/dp/1596680199/re f=pd_sim_b_3_img/103-1161960-6271833 http://www.amazon.com/Faux-Surfaces-Polymer-Clay-Techniques/dp/157 9907512/ref=pd_sim_b_1/103-1161960-6271833 http://www.polyclay.com/beads.htm IP: Logged |

zanya, yes I have a question for you, and no Mods don't have access to anyone's email address only Randall does. However, you have access to mine: it's at my Profile, and if you click on my name at this forum where it says "Moderated By" that will open a New Message in your email client Please write me -- I'm here every day, but somehow I did not see your reply to my bumping this thread..... when you register at this website, you are given the option to allow moderators to contact you at your email address. i checked the yes button. is that a falsity?anyway, i sent a return email to you on Nov.30 to your email of Nov.28....with a question and my physical residential address. i have not heard from you since. did you miss that email as well? what's up? i don't appreciate mind games in my offline life (or online for that matter, lol, but that's the nature of the beast, isn't it?) i trust too easily and am most often burned for doing so. why do this? it was the reason i wasn't enthusiastic about initiating email contact with you initially.
