Then tonight when I was feeding my chickens, a kitten materialized out of nowhere, purring up a storm, and came right up to me and attempted to climb my leg. Acted like we'd been friends forever.

There's lots more I could say, unrelated to what I just wrote about. I won't though cause it won't be heard anyway. Don't want to waste my energy on deaf ears.

You really have not been payinging attention to all that is going on, you have made some assumptions that are not correct, but I am wasting my time writing this, since you only take in what you want, selectively, missing the big picture.

Once again you have hi-jacked someone else's thread and turned it into a soap box for one of your theories and an all about you thread.

You have taken cancerrg's thread and turned it into Frankenstein's monster and you owe cancerrg an apology for taking his thread so far off the mark of what it was actually intended by him to be.

LL is not your personal blog, HSC. Yet you are constantly hi-jacking other people's threads, putting the focus entirely on yourself and using it for a soap box to not only promote yourself as the renowned prophet and genius you claim to be but to try and stuff your viewpoints down the throats of others while you demean, belittle them and totally ignore their thoughts and opinions as you have done on this thread and many, many other threads.

Please don't say once again that you do listen to the thoughts and opinions of others when you have shown completely the opposite on this thread and many, many other threads. Other people's beliefs, opinions and thoughts are consistently ridiculed by you. Not only that the people themselves are also ridiculed by you in total disrespect while you would have us believe that you actually possess universal love for all humanity. If that were truly the case it seems that along with that universal love of humanity there just might be some respect shown for others.

Enough already!!!! Let cancerrg have his thread back for crying out loud.

Many people in today's society are calling themselves shamans without any knowledge of exactly what this means. If the world-be shaman does not have the ability to look at his or her own shadow side, this person is not meant to follow the path of the shaman. This person would never be able to confront or handle the results and/or intentions of black shamanism. Amoung the people of Mexico and Central and South America, the black arts and the use of Good and bad Medicine together is very prevalent. Many shamans have died trying to protect others, thus invoking the wrath of those using the black arts. Although this type of bad Medicine amoung shamans is not as prevalent north of the Mexican border, it does exists. True Medicine People do not have to ANNOUNCE or BRAG that they are shamans or Medicine People at ALL. They work QUIETLY and with HUMILITY because they know their WORTH in the eyes of GREAT MYSTERY. The opinions of others DO NOT CHANGE the SENSE of Self held by a TRUE HEALER or shaman.
A shaman has walked up to the gates of his or her personal hell and then walked in. the self-created demons of fear, insanity, loneliness, self-importance, and addictions have been CONFRONTED and CONQUERED by the shaman who has gone through the gamut of SHAMAN'S DEATHS. The quality that always SHINES in a TRUE shaman is COMPASSION for the PATHS that OTHER'S must walk. This comes from the FACT that the shaman has also WALKED through the underworld of the shadow and KNOWS FIRSTHAND the PAIN involved in breaking the STRANGLEHOLD of inner darkness.

One such death/rebirth ritual is called THE DARK NIGHT OF FEAR. This Tradition is PRACTICED by many Noth American Tribes as a way to CONFRONT and CONQUER FEAR before going on a VISION QUEST. The actual intiation involves going to a remote area and DIGGING ONE'S OWN GRAVE. Then the seeker will lie in that grave ALONE ALL NIGHT. The opening to the grave is covered by a blanket. The sounds of the night and the nocturnal prowlers act as a catalyst that brings forth all of one's greatest imagined fears so that they may be confronted. Since the person cannot see through the blanket, the sound, combined with imagination, are his or her worst ememy. The FEARS CREATED by A ACTIVE IMAGINATION can lead to the RETRIEVAL of INNER COURAGE or the total PARALYZATION of the SENSES. After a person remains awake all night and CONFRONTS the SHADOWLIKE FEARS that STALK the IMAGINATION, HE or she is ELIGIBLE to go on a Vision Quest.

Anothe type of SHAMAN'S DEATH ritual comes from the highlands of Mexico. In this ceremony, the INITIATE is STRIPPED of CLOTHING and PAINTED on the body with BAT symbols by members of HIS or her own gender. A hole is DUG in the center of the village that will only allow the buried person's head to be above the earth. Then the seeker is buried, standing up, for twenty-four-hour period. All of the VILLAGER'S CALL NAMES, KICK DUST IN THE SEEKER'S FACE, and URINATE or DEFECATE near the head of the buried and HELPLESS PERSON. The initiate is NOT ALLOWED to answer ANY OF the CALLS or ACTIONS VERBALLY. The HORROR of WHAT is HAPPENING DESTROYS MANY of the NOTIONS ONE HAS of ONESELF. These indignites are a TOTAL SURPISE to the initiate and MUST be DEALT with SILENTLY and with COURAGE. The initiation is NEVER EXPLAINED beforehand except in the BROADEST TERMS.

Bat is the Mayan and Aztec symbol for REBIRTH. Bat hangs upside down in the cave just as the humans make ready for BIRTH, nestled upside down in their MOTHER'S WOMBS. The DARKNESS of the cave is SAFE for Bat, just as the DARKNESS of the WOMB is SAFE for unborn children. In LEAVING the WOMB or the cave, EACH PERSON is FORCED to LOOK at LIGHT and SHADOWS. THEN ONE must make the decisions as to WHICH of thses SIDES of the SELF EVOLVE into the UNIWORLD when EACH PERSON is able to SEE BOTH SIDES of the SELF WILL ALLOW FURTHER GROWTH. The DUALITY of the UNIVERSE WIL EVOLVE into the UNIWORLD when EACH PERSON is able to SEE BOTH SIDES AS EQUALLY CONTRIBUTING to the PROCESS of AWARENESS. The SHAMAN'S DEATH is ONE SYMBOL of this GROWING UNDERSTANDING that LEADS to WHOLENESS.

Well, since apparently none of us here are "real" enough to be heeded, nor are spiritually advanced enough to adopt Russian children and uncompassionately insist on having bio kids, nor are intelligent enough to understand the grand concepts presented, I shall go on my merry way -- but first I would like to apologize to cancerrg for my part in hijacking his thread to address HSC and not cancerrg's topic.

I've done my best to suppress HSC (from his higher vantage point) and apparently it hasn't worked :-( Gosh, I even tried to "show him how to say 'I could be wrong'" but evidently that's not applicable to him in this case.....

GG, I really liked your musing about whether these kids have incarnated into orphan status in order to learn the lessons only that experience can provide, and will go on to teach many others and raise consciousness on the planet..... I find myself wondering what HSC's mission and important Life Work that he speaks of will entail.....
