Our Solane Star, is having surgery on July 9 ( next Monday ).

They are going to remove a fibroid tumor the size of a grapefruit and at the same time she will be having a hysterectomy.

Star, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hope it all goes well and that you are back on your feet in no time.

I had my hysterectomy at about the same age as you are now. Honestly, I was happy I did due to all the pain and hemorrhaging I experienced each month. Another plus is that you will not have as hard a time when you go through menopause. I breezed through that phase of my life.

Star Sister!!

I had the same surgery almost 2 years ago
Everything went fine and I'm confident yours will go the same
It feels *fabulous* to get that bowling ball out of your midsection

THE ABSOLUTE WORST part of the whole thing wasn't the day before the surgery drinking all that horrible stuff to clean you out, it wasn't the post-op nurses getting you up to walk every two hours when all you want to do is rest, it wasn't the waiting until you can take your next dose of pain-meds -- it was the lawn growing back in after they shave you for the surgery!!! (that is, if your lawn isn't regularly mowed anyway )

Love & {{{ hugs }}}
Zala

Good luck, Solane Star

LOL Star.

If it's 2 inches long or over it may require a machete instead of a mower.
