Well what would you do?
I'm meant to be seeing my uncle tomorrow morning and going for a drive to one of his business meetings, it's the only time we get to hang out.

Anyway a few weeks ago I had a weird dream that I was in a 4wd, but it looked more like a truck in my dream, I was holding my phone and looking at it, and then we were about to crash and I was really frightened. The phone I had in my dream then was different to the one I had in real life.

Just a few days ago I got a new phone and realised it was the same one in my dream. That was really freaky, and then I realized my uncle has a 4wd, and so then I thought maybe I should avoid going in the car with him??

I said to myself tonight, "don't be silly, he's a race car driver, I will be safe"...and then after I said that to myself there was a news story and I saw a scene of a smashed up race car.

Is that a bit ominous? I mean, should I avoid going out with him tomorrow morning?
or am I just being totally stupid? I might cancel anyway just to be sure.

I have had such things be real portents far to many times!
I personally would not go.
Next time may be safe but you might seriously want to cancel this time.

Yeah I was thinking that it is just this appointment I should avoid and after that it would be ok.

I have given it more thought and I will cancel.

I was also thinking, because I will cancel, then that would alter the timeline of events, and the outcome, so my uncle will probably avoid a collision or accident altogether...so I have no need to be concerned for him?

yeah I'm usually more switched on than this...I question myself because I'm hormonally challenged right now cos I'm pregnant, I cry, I get weird and I worry over stupid things, and I'm vague and tired.
I'm heaps more psychic lately, which is nice. I think baby puts thoughts and images in my head too! I don't realize it until much later though.

I agree to cancel.
Look at it this way: even if you are wrong it won't hurt anybody to cancel. You can do it again another time.

Guy told me that he dreamed he was bit by a snake while out in the woods real late and died on the way to the hospital.

He thought nothing of it, but later he and his friend, both teens, had snuck out of the house and were in the woods. It got eerie and deja vu and he spilled to his friend about his dream. And he went, "If that dream were to happen, then there should be a snake right about...there."

And sure enough, there was a snake. Freaked his friend out enough that he ran.

I myself have had only one truly precognitive dream, and it was something so mundane. In the dream I was walking home on Christmas when I passed a Catholic church all lit up when a cat I never saw before came up to me and I petted him, left, bought some catfood and started feeding him.

A few months later, it really happened. Only it wasn't Christmas, it was Easter. Other than that, it was exactly like it. I fed the cat for a few days until his owners returned from wherever.

Why would I dream about something so mundane?

Ah well, given how prone to nightmares I am, I'm GLAD I don't dream of the future, or I'd be a nervous wreck!

Btw, that guy who dreamed of the snake told me once that as a child he had another dream that came true, in a way. He was still a little boy and had a "make believe friend" (that he wasn't sure was so make believe even to this day) that came to him in his dream and had him fly to a car lot and showed him a car. About a week later, that exact car--"down to the smell" according to him--was brought home by his dad.

Told me of another weird thing. He was taken to a new mall on its opening day, and he knew where EVERYTHING was. He was even describing it to his mom who was freaking out (she thought doing stuff like that was satanic). He'd never been there. He said he never dreamed of the place, or anything like that, it was just like it was a "memory that wasn't a memory if that makes any sense. Like I'd been there many times before." But it sounds to me like it might be something similar.

Wow Dervish. So interesting.

I had a dream about my neighbours cat. In my dream he was badly hurt, looked like a car accident, I saw blood and broken bones. I said goodbye to him and thanked him for being my friend. I was sad for days after that dream. And then 2 weeks later I noticed he wasn't around as usual, I asked my neighbor and she said he was struck by a car and died instantly. I told her about the dream and she told me that her cat did have a connection with me.

I've already dreamed many positive things about my baby in the near future, one dream was when I was looking at her eyes and it was like we were communicating, everything was so familiar. I think I'm getting good at these psychic dreams. It really adds a new dimension and sense of adventure to life.

SunChild, isn't this amazing, I really think when we become pregnant and have children that it opens up the connection 10-fold, I don't know what it is, but Since I was pregnant and had my two girl's, things of the spiritual took on a whole new meaning!

I definitely agree with that Lotus - becoming a mother is the most sacred, personal thing that a woman can go through. God only knows what previously unused parts of our mind must open up when there is life growing inside of us!!!

SunChild - why not tell your uncle of your premonition - then maybe he might agree to using different transport? Trust your instincts, definitely!!!
