Veteran cat slave here. I have two, Zeke and Max, who have me very well trained.

You know that you are a cat slave when you lay uncomfortably paralyzed in bed at night just so you don't disturb the sleeping cat.

My cat, Zeke, comes up to the computer and taps me on the shoulder when it is feeding time. If I don't respond the first time he taps my shoulder with his claws the second time. LOL He also does that when he thinks it is my bedtime.

I have a dog, but left it with my mum. He's docile tho and gets along with cats.
