***This works great only when others are recieving and seeing these same points of view (LABELS), but when other's are still using old tic tacs, old labels, patterns and programs from ones past, to keep drilling ones point of view, I think one is being Pigion holed and left no room to expand or grow, to learn different ways of thinking and living ones life.***

Sure.. but most people that are going to attempt to hold a label over your head are also people that aren't going to accept an "I am" statement either.

I imagine trying to go to a job interview and the boss asking me what I was at my last job and me simply saying "I was and now I am again!" It's just not very helpful in most real-life situations.

Most people aren't going to have the same point of view as I am. I've accepted that a long time ago. If I call myself a goth and someone decides to hold me to that label then they'll just be surprised when I show up wearing khaki clam diggers, a white linen shirt, and blue and purple slip on sandals. If I call myself an Administrative Assistant and someone thinks that means I answer phones then I'll just surprise them when I show them my expansive skills elsewhere. Or... I'll say I'm a hobby photographer and turn around and sew a Renn dress.

I kind of like the idea of making people see things differenly than they first judge.

Seek the inner cause of problems
"When you arrive at your future, will you blame your past?"

-- Robert Half

What holds you back from being and doing more? In your journal, list what you believe is holding you back.

Have you blamed people or factors outside of yourself? It's important to understand that ALL problems are rooted inside us. Even the blocks that appear to be outside of us are only reflecting back an issue we have inside that we have not yet owned. Once we address our inner issue, the outer situation no longer troubles us.

The buck always stops with us. We step into our power when we accept responsibility for our lives.

"The most self-destructive thought that any person can have is thinking that he or she is not in total control of his or her life. That's when, ‘Why me?’ becomes a theme song."

-- Roger Dawson

"...look at that word blame. It's just a coincidence that the last two letters spell the word me. But that coincidence is worth thinking about. Other people or unfortunate circumstances may have caused you to feel pain, but only you control whether you allow that pain to go on. If you want those feelings to go away, you have to say: ‘It's up to me.’"

-- Arthur Freeman

Tell that to a murder victim or a child born with birth defects. Tell that to we who pay taxes we do not want to pay. Try driving without a permit. Or crossing international borders without a passport.
The list of things we do not have total control of in our lives goes on.
